Amazing new wine and dessert - windbeutel…read more This is a flaky pastry filled with whipped cream and asp berries. Maybe liken this to a Napoleon or brest pastry.....very refreshing! The wine was new and young - like a barrel tasting when the wine is not quite in its final form. This was so delish! For starters we had the garlic bread and a portion of the oven-baked goats' cheese with apple and mango sauce. Both dishes didn't require any cooking skills at all but took a while to arrive. Our mains were okay. The monkfish sadly was overcooked and didn't really work with pasta and tomato sauce. The service was alright. We were served by 2 different waiters, the female waiter was attentive and friendly, her male co-worker....well, not so much. For the prices they charge, which are slightly above average, we did expect better service and better execution of the dishes. We probably wouldn't pick this place again.

Recognizing my German was bad he brought an English menu. I selected a starter and main Goat cheese- plating was nice and taste were excellent. Thick balsamic vinegar with a local type salad. Accompanied by a local fruit and liquor chutney. Is this in one bite with the brûlée goat cheese made an great taste. Veal schnitzel - no surprise here. Well cooked and crispy. Taste was great. Sides were asparagus local grow. White asparagus with a sauce. Very tasty. Also some home style potatoes. Everything taste perfect and well seasoned. Double expresso- in typical German fashion excellent strong expresso with as side of water.
