This is a hidden gem! Deep into Santiago's peninsula is this seemingly inconspicuous entrance, with a very small and almost invisible sign that says "rooftop". You have to look up and read the "seafood restaurant" sign, too easy to miss, to realize that there is a restaurant inside.
The venue is a palm house on top of an apartment building. Nothing fancy, but functional. Few tables. They can seat large groups also. But the view is in march. You have the "Salagua" bay at full display on the left and "La audiencia" beach on your right. Sadly the later is obscured by a huge hotel building but you have unobstructed views of the sunset. The staff is limited but helpful, friendly, well trained. The bar woman make signature cocktails. However since the staff is very limited and everything is cooked at the moment, the waiting time is a little long. The menu is varied, it has starters, salads, soups, seafood tacos, entrees and deserts. A well balanced mixture of seafood and meats. The flavor does not disappoints, everything we try was tasty, with good textures and at the right temperature. The guacamole and the table services of salsas were the best, very spicy! Finally the price / quality ratio is excellence. If I ever come back to Manzanillo I definitely coming back to this place. Do yourself a favor and try this place at least once! read more
