Half loaded the truck when they noticed the underside of our dining room table was dirty and had an old mouse dropping from before our house was fumigated and we explained that it was fumigated and had the Receipt to show that the house was properly taken care of. They refused to move anymore and took what they had loaded already off the truck leaving us stranded in an already tight deadline to move. I think they didn't want to tackle the heavier items they haven't gotten too yet. This left us trying to find another mover or truck already late in the day, I would recommend this company to anyone unless you were moving from one impeccably clean new house to another because if you live in an older home that may have had mice problems they won't touch it.

After booking well in advance and agreeing to a move date and time Mountain called to ask if we would move our time from 8 am to noon -- we graciously agreed trusting they would arrive at noon as they said they would. The movers did not arrive at noon but arrived four hours late. We later learned that management knowingly booked an eight hour job in the 4-hour time slot we were asked to change; their crew had to finish this job before arriving for ours. We waited from noon to 4pm for the movers to arrive totally screwing up our move day. We wondered if we had been swindled and would they ever show up! He moved my mom in May.. now me in nov. and probably my mom again... early next year to move her to me. I pay cash .. as that's what they want .. then tell you they cut you they cut you a deal paying cash... like ok ???!!!! But yet, they don't carry cash to give change. But more than anything when my mom asked to give me a break as she will give him more business now that she would be moving to me. He didn't care. He could of given me $35 break as I would of got my $15 back as per my change. But didn't. He said "it is what it is" ... left my home. No goodbye nothing !!! that's ok. I appreciate that everything was done well. But how you finished up Mr Alan and walked out of my house. Not good business. Keep the $15 and we wish you well!!!! Unfortunately you have lost our business and others that are coming up north and selling there homes in the GTA. When I saw what had happened to all of my furniture I called Nick to come and inspect all of the damage. He arrived with a camera and took pictures of all of the damage and PROMISED that he would have it all repaired and would call me when the he had a estimate on everything damaged. About I week later he called me and said that there was no way that his men could have caused that much damage and more or less insinuated that I had did it myself. Before the move he was in my home and had checked my furniture and found nothing wrong with it. There is no way that I would destroy what it took me a lifetime to own. So when the estimate came in for the cost to repair all the damage his men did he refused to make any kind of restitution and stopped answering my calls . I am a senior woman and because of that he took advantage of the fact I couldn't do anything to force him to do the honest and right thing and pay for what his demolition crew had done to my belongings. So take WARNING and avoided this company at all costs or you will pay the same price that I did. This is not a moving company but a demolition team and the only thing you will get by hiring them is unlimited Stress and astronomical financial loss .They took advantage of me because they thought because I was a old lady and would not fight back. What would you do if they did this to your mother ??? Well I am going to fight them to my last breath so they don't do this to your senior mother of father.
