The firm is located on the second floor of the building. When I got upstairs, I was surprised at how big the office is. It has a cozy feel to it with water fountains, Tiffany lighting, Persian rugs, and plenty of bookcases and law books. The attorney immediately put me at ease with a big smile and He had a laid back personality. We met for over 3 hours and, as he promised, we talked about my facts, about legal theories, and he eventually drew a diagram from scratch showing me what to expect. He gave me some handouts so I would remember what we talked about and I did learned a lot. And this took away some of my stress because I now have some direction. I'm home now and I feel like it was worth the consultation fee because of the time he spent and the information I learned. I will hire the firm.

Mr. Kram is a member of the "old boys club", and will not go to bat for his clients. I directed him…read moreto sue DSHS for me. There are adequate legal reasons to think DSHS was culpable and the judge was incompetent, and my case was unjust. Yet Mr. Kram refused to come to my aid even after I paid him $25,000. More details below: I hired Mr. Kram after an audit tribunal found that I owed a quarter million dollars because DSHS alleged my files had "no documentation", and money was ordered to be taken-back. But DSHS lied about my documentation. Three out of twelve documents that I used in my files were published by DSHS. The documents were created by DSHS, yet they said that they didn't know what they were. The judge agreed with DSHS on all counts and did not question why my documents were not "documentation". Mr. Kram was not part of the tribunal, nor for most of the appeals. He was hired late in the game, so I hold no grudge with him for what occurred before he was hired. My only recourse was to sue DSHS and the judge for unfairly finding against me for $250,000. After all, DSHS lied, and the judge blindly deferred. Furthermore, the judge was very biased against me. I asked Mr. Kram to sue DSHS on my behalf. I pointed out to him how DSHS lied, yet he refused to sue. His explanation of my situation was that I had a car accident (metaphorically) and then got the car repaired. When I asked my auto insurance carrier to pay for the repair, Mr. Kram says, I didn't provide the repair bill to the insurance company. In other words, I had no documentation, and I shouldn't get paid. Mr. Kram apparently agreed with the judge, but he would not (or could not) explain how anyone can allege there was no documentation. When Mr. Kram refused to sue for me, I told him I wouldn't pay the final $700 of his bill. Later, I offered to pay him if he sued DSHS. He still refused, and he sent me to collections. I don't know what Mr. Kram would say about this Yelp essay. I hope he responds to it. I am not happy with his representation at all. He told me that judges have immunity from suits. But there must be ways to unseat a crooked judge. As for DSHS, they get sued almost ever month, it seems, and they lie in court. HB

For several years I have been trying to get the attention of lawyers but I was passed over and over because of money reasons and they didn't care. According to Mr Ennis justice is for the rich. His statement that your life matters is a lie, and his website is a lie. I wouldn't recommend him for services. Also no one picks up their office phone.

The young attorney still wanted to charge $200/hr, even though when you go through NW Legal Justice project, the lawyers are supposed to give you a discount. I had visited the law library before and spoken to experienced lawyers who told me what to do and told me I definately needed a lawyer. (I am dealing with an argumentative, abusive ex husband who I still coown realestate with. He was living at the property without paying the mortgage. He has destroyed my credit and since then, before being court ordered to move out, trashed the place, throwing a chair through a very large expensive window and leaving urine on the floor. Among many other things.) After explaining my situation to this young lawyer in a fancy suit, he told me I didn't need an attourney, and, "why can't you just talk to your ex husband? I don't think you need an attourney at this point." I told him I can't talk to him, thats why the marriage didn't work etc. This was incredibly frustrating at a time when I didn't need another frustration. I eventually found a great attorney through NW legal Justice Project named Brian Murray ((253) 227-0304 brianmurry@murrylawoffice.com). He is located in Puyallup. I hope this review helps someone. -Jenny
