Ellie and Ella made sure we're kept safe and having fun the entire 2 hours of rock wall climbing and swinging. This is my 2nd time to request a group outing and they make the experience so easy. First, I filled out an online form stating my expected group size and requested date(s). Within a day, a nice gentleman called me back to set expectations and told me which dates and times were available. I then called back the third day to finalize everything. They answered all of my questions quickly and I just had to put a $50 deposit to hold my reservation. Once we arrived, each kid got a wristband so the instructors could easily find which kids belong in our group. Then, we all got a harness and they began a 10-15 minute introductory lesson on how to climb using the auto-belays. They offered to manually belay us, but we all preferred the auto-belays. I settled the bill after the event finished, and it was $30 per person as advertised. Pro Tip: don't forget to bring cash! I gave the instructors cash tips as there was no way to add tip to the credit card transaction. I loved their auto-belay systems. It makes climbing so easy and I felt safe belaying down from the very top. I especially love the Minneapolis location because of the abundance of natural lighting in each climbing area. I'd love to buy a 10 visit pass next time for my family to share as it's a fun way to burn some calories.

It's a really nice environment for a beginner. There were many families in the class so the age range was truly from under 10 years to parent/grandparent age. It didn't feel intimidating - rather a warm, inviting environment. If you're archery curious, I would recommend the beginner's course at Rapids Archery Club.

Austin guided me out into the Mississippi and we went through a couple basic yoga moves that are incredibly more challenging with the core-burning lateral instability of a paddleboard. As long as you're not afraid to fall into the water, (and in summer, how could you be?) this is the coolest way to practice yoga I've experienced yet. They're just getting started, so look for them in a waterway near you very soon!

All week there was going to be chance of storms so we wanted to wait it out and see if it was going to be accurate or not. The cancellation policy on the day of is for weather only (rain, high winds etc). So it's now the day of a reservation (11-7) at 9 am and it's severe thunderstorm watch all day. I call at 9 and ask if we're able to get a full refund, they say no because they have to wait to see if it's going to be bad weather during our reservation time. Fair. I call back at 1045 to cancel because I see it's going to be bad all day, not worth going out at all for $750 or even a partial refund of 375 to go out for half the day. I was still charged the $100 cancellation fee even though the weather was no good. It's upsetting they tried to get me to do a half day on the water when an hour into our reservation it's been lighting. We live an hour away from this location so none of it made sense for us to commit to this reservation unfortunately. If you don't want to go through what I did with no sympathy, either book another company, but your own boat, or cancel 3 days ahead of time

This lovely hike runs along the Mississippi River. As you can see from the pictures, there are waterfalls to see. The wild life wasn't as active due to the cold, but we still heard some birds. You've never experienced listening to a woodpecker until you've done so next to a frozen river. It echoed around like crazy. Even though this is an intermediate level trail, you are often close to the parkway so if something goes wrong it's not a long way to get help. In the winter do bring a hiking partner, cleats, warm clothes, snacks, water, and a whistle. I'm so grateful to have so a beautiful hike so close to the city.

This trail in Minneapolis is very easy to get to, there's tons of parking on the street and parking…read morelots, and it's a very easy trail to walk. Today, it was towards the end of peak fall colors season and there were tons of leaves all over and while it was past peak, it was still a very pretty walk. It wasn't super busy, but it was busy enough for you didn't feel unsafe. I believe this trail is about 5 miles round-trip, but you can go halfway or as long as you want to. as I said, it's a very easy trail to walk with slight elevation gains but overall it's the elevation stays about the same and it's very safe and it's pretty well marked.
