There's a sign on it that says out of order. But on the upside I just learned about this 3d printer I couldn't be more thrilled. Yes the library now has a 3-D print lab. They only allow 1/mo and it must be something that was successfully printed from thingverse or similar site. in other words you probably can't just design your own without uploading it to one of those sites first and getting others to successfully printed to show that it's not a disaster and then it is a successful design not that they only offer PLA (Polylactic Acid). It is the standard for library printers because it's easy to use and doesn't give off toxic fumes, it can warp if left in the direct summer sun or high heat though so if you're printing something for use outdoors you may need to spray on a protectant of some sort.

Not only is it a great place for students to come for a quiet place to study, it is also perfect for anyone looking to use the computers or have a quiet space to work or read. They have free wifi, printing and copying that are only 10 cents a page. They also have fantastic rooms in the back where you can study with a group, or if you just want a private space to be alone and quiet to concentrate. These rooms are such a plus! Where else can you go to use free wifi, but also have a private area all to yourself? In these economic times, money is scarce, renting movies can be $3-$5! But at the library, you can rent three movies at once for FREE! Not to mention, their late fees for books are very low so if you forget to return a book for a few days you wont be paying big bucks. Check it out! As a lover of books and quiet places, I highly recommend.

So good to be back in the old neighborhood with our good friends back in the area also. We plan to come back here more and more frequently, off season of course. :) This was our 5 star area when my daughter was a kid. Before it got TOO touristy. We spent our winters here for like 10+ years and then moved to Incline (less touristy) for 10+ years, and we are now enjoying South Reno and hopefully for the next 10+ years...? LOL. Wait, how old am I? Quality/Quantity - So many restaurant changes... Which is good and bad. Casino brands continue to change (Bally), Caesar Republic, Golden Nugget, etc. And more importantly, I see more and more craft breweries pop up; thank you, lol. Heavenly was our ski resort back in the day. Yes, I still have my Epic pass. And this location is still close enough to go to Kirkwood. It is getting harder and harder for me to visit these resorts, as Mt Rose is currently my favorite local mountain. Summer, which I do NOT come often enough, is bike friendly. Approximately 16.5 square miles. 21k+ population. Today we just stayed at the house because our friends just wanted to cook and relax. She is an excellent cook. Best things to do in Lake Tahoe are: Skiing, snow mobiling, the lake, water sports, hiking, beaches, horseback riding, food and brewery scene continue to improve, etc. Atmosphere - The city is a huge tourist attraction, so we try to ONLY come during off peak seasons. We typically do not come on a day like today, but it was too hot for our friends to come to Reno. There are more and more nicer restaurants popping up, thank you. But they are typically too small and the waits are too long, hence the off season visits. Service - Tourist attraction, so the service reflects that. Price - Slightly above average, but that is the price for tourists. Owner Comments - Congrats on your success since 1965 incorporation. 1944 - First gaming, Harvey's Wagon Wheel Saloon and Gaming. 1960 - Winter Olympics. 2021 - Caldor Fire forced the entire city to evacuate.

IMHO--It's best exploring ALL of Lake Tahoe, i.e., please don't consume all of your time just visiting the casinos . . . Visit the State Park, go kayaking--GO OUTSIDE!

Guest services was very clean. The front desk staff was very attentive and offered to store my personal belongings. Upon arrival you will be offered a keepsake photo for your Instagram and given slippers for your stay. Room was not overly decorated. Unfortunately, there was no turn down service and the mattresses were not very comfortable. Complimentary meals were served three times a day. The food was like nothing I've never experienced. Portions could have been larger. Beverage service was below average. Not a large selection. There is limited cell service and no access to the internet. A real off the grid experience. It's a wonderful place to have time alone to reboot and really get to know yourself again. They have a great incentive plan for guests staying more then one night. You receive a significant reduction in your final lodging invoice. Overall, my stay was very eye opening. I regret to say I will not make reservations again.

The drive would be very long, especially on Highway 50- but coming down to Highway 89, and seeing Minden!.. Seeing open land and the mountains brings tranquility.. lol.. Minden is fun to walk around.. visit small shops and just relax.. Can't wait until the fishing trip!

If you see a gray and reasonably fit man with University of Iowa or Texas A&M-themed gym clothes, that's me. But you definitely won't see us on a pickleball court, which isn't the type of strength, endurance, and cardio exercise that we need. We really really like this gym and don't mind the relatively long but frequent Genoa commutes. You'll also find me here in its time as a volunteer election worker. And there's so much more going on here.
