Our builder worked with Alpine to install cabinets in our new house build, and about a year later we contacted Alpine to install an additional run of cabinets on top of the existing ones to add more storage and take the cabinets up to the ceiling. Alpine did an amazing job matching the new cabinet stain to the existing ones, and during installation they were extremely conscientious about matching all the cabinet lines/doors where the old cabinets and the new ones meet, they really cared about the overall look. Their installers were polite and just did an amazing job! The cost was reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do a kitchen remodel/upgrade. read more

So disappointed in the work and service. When they first dropped off the cabinets, I asked what to do if I found a flaw, and I was shrugged off and basically told, "well how will we know you didn't actually do it?" We were upsold a stronger wood for the cabinets, but the paint is terrible and doesn't stick to the wood well. This means that whenever any kind of water touches the cabinet, the paint comes off. The doors/ drawers all look terrible. They replaced the doors once, saying they had fixed the issue, but the second are no better. I've compared to the white cabinets in many houses, and mine are the worst I've seen, by far! I even looked at my parents the other day-- their house is 20 years old and they have minimal paint coming off. (Ours are 2.5 years old) Stay away! They are not customer- oriented at all. read more

another 1 star review. went by to request a small amount of stain - i needed to repair a small area of damage to a cabinet; Alpine had installed them when the house was built a few years ago and my puppy had damaged one. sadly it didnt work out. not only was the gentleman who worked there rude, he was aggressive - to the point that he followed me out of the store to berate me and swear at me in the street. his demeanor was not just inappropriate it was aggressive to the point i wondered if he was going to take a swing at me. i'll be polite and not include the words he actually used; let's just say they were insulting. in an effort to limit the risk of violence i kept my car door between us, yet he still got within striking distance. if i did that to someone in my office i'd expect to be fired on the spot. he clearly has issues with anger management and customer relations. if you need cabinets, i recommend considering all your options. read more

Significantly disappointed in the quality and service of our Alpine cabinets. These were purchased and installed new in 2017 and after 2 years, several of the doors and face frames are losing paint down to the wood. The paint is very thin and I can't see any primer or a second coat. After contacting Alpine, I offered to bring the doors in for repair. Instead Sarah set a can of spray paint on the sidewalk of their office for me to pickup and make the repair myself. Don't waste your time/money with Alpine. There are several good options elsewhere. read more

Hard to believe the prior reviews, but hope they followed up with Alpine because our experience was beyond excellent. We gave them the measurements and chose the wood and style, etc for a custom oak cabinet (to sit on the floor) for our laundry room. A couple weeks later, it was ready and when we went to pick it up, it was too large for our SUV. Travis and Steve dropped what they were doing and for $50 delivered and installed the cabinet within the hour Travis had to cut away some wood near the shelving (our bad) to make it work, but it was done in such a way you couldn't notice. The cabinet is perfect, it now fits perfect and we can't thank Steve, Travis and all the folks at Alpine for everything they did. Great quality cabinetry work and great customer service. From my experience, I can't necessarily recommend these guys. Mostly for customer service and friendliness issues I had during my visits. There is no one to greet you or give you a quick tour or run down of how the process works, all you get is an eventual "Yeah?" from someone poking their head out from their office. The front showroom is cluttered and makes you fell like you're in the middle of a work in progress. All I needed was six drawer boxes rebuilt and the fellow who helped me (Ray) had absolutely no energy or interest in the sale or my needs. It was as if I was annoying him by stopping by. The quality, however, was amazing. Super quick turnaround - he thought it would be 5-6 days but they took care of it overnight and I had my drawers the next day. Yes that's obviously under-promise and over-deliver but it worked for me. The price was just okay, $230 all in for the six small drawers. If you're a local yokel then you won't notice the service issues, but if you're used to being doted on, you'll do a double take for the first 10 minutes of your visit. read more

In 2018 I purchased a home in Fort Collins, CO, that was built in 1999. The kitchen was remodeled in 2011 by Alpine Cabinets. They did a beautiful job on the design and installation of the cabinets. In fact, that is what sold me on the house. In 2019 I ordered rollout drawers to be retrofitted to 3 of the existing cabinets. There was a misunderstanding and the rollouts were built incorrectly. I contacted Mr. Chinn, the owner of Alpine Cabinets, and he immediately handled the situation. The rollouts were rebuilt and delivered in a couple of days. The rebuilt rollouts are even nicer than the ones I ordered initially. I have used Alpine in the past and will continue to do so. I appreciate that they are locally owned and willing to deal with any misunderstandings. read more

Our contractor recommended Alpine to us over ordering cabinets online, pointing out that they're product was superior and their service was better than ordering online and if there was a problem, they are local and would come right out and fix it. WRONG!!! We ordered knotty alder cabinets just like we have in our kitchen. What we got was shoddy quality and looks incredibly cheap. AND, when our contractor pointed these issues out to them, the response was that they wouldn't even come out and look at them for a few weeks. This is not how you treat customers!!! read more

Alpine was recommended to us by our contractor. He evidently hasn't utilized them in years. I drove a good distance to give them some business. I had every intention of leaving with a bathroom vanity selected. As mentioned in previous reviews they looked/acted as if they really didn't care that I was there. I'm sure they prefer higher volume sales. Ms. Tats did ask me if she could help me, but really didn't. I found some real wood cabinets in their back showroom I liked, and got "those are really high end, and usually used for kitchens." When I asked if she could give me how much they'd be for a vanity, she said, "I'd have no idea. This is what we usually use for vanities," pointing me to the typical Home Depot prefab pressed wood crap. I thanked her and went on my way. Customer service doesn't seem to matter to Alpine...at least not for individual customers. Maybe we're not their target market... read more

I highly recommend this company: there were a few things wrong when my cabinets were installed, but they sent someone out right away to fix it. Also, there is a lifetime guarantee so if something goes wrong in the future I can get it fixed. Great local business read more
