I followed up multiple times via email asking for a status update, and each time I was told my return was being worked on and that they'd call me when it was finished. Tax day came and went. No call. No finished return. I had to scramble and file my own taxes at the last minute on that night. It completely defeated the purpose of hiring a tax professional. To make matters worse, I emailed them afterward asking what happened and have received zero response. Complete lack of accountability and professionalism.
