It is a store of four floors as has everything from stationery and books through clothes and knitting implements to sports equipment and dvd's and music. The supermarket in the back of the store is a real gem and has something every person who has been in the area for a while from the UK will be looking for, Heinz baked beans. Beans and digestive biscuits are the two greatest things about this store although there book section is excellent and there are good guide books for skiing and climbing in the area. The sports section is worth a look too although you'll generally find the same stuff cheaper elsewhere.

Three of us arrived in Selva Val Gardena for a week of skiing. We opted to rent skis as it is very…read moreexpensive to bring skis flying from the USA. We walked into the first rental shop (there are many) and were asked to wait 20 minutes as the rental guy was on a break. As we wanted to ski that afternoon we decided we did not need to wait and walked across the street to Intersport. What a stroke of luck. The guys working there, Hannes, Killian, Marc and Jesko, were all amazing. They are all fluent in Italian, German and English and Hannes got us set up in no time and recommended the best area to get started for skiing that afternoon as well as where to go for aprés ski (La Stua) and had us store the rental skis as well as our own ski boots (on a boot dryer all night) at the shop. We would walk a few blocks from our apartment each morning and our boots would be already waiting for us. One day, my friend complained of one of his boots possibly leaking and when we showed up the next morning, Killian had repaired it. I highly recommend this shop if you are skiing in Val Gardena.
