I waited for the manager who was on duty, I got the impression he wasn't the main guy, and told him I bought the item on Friday and tried to use them but they taste horrible! He immediately said we don't take things back because you don't like them. I said there's something wrong with them. I asked him to taste one that was still in the cellophane wrapper and he declined to do so. He looked at the package and said the sell by date was December, which explains why they were rancid. Then the cashier pipes up and says I had to cook them first, then the other cashier joined in the conversation, the one who couldn't talk to me and needed a manager. So now there are three young people talking at the same time to me, a 73 year old woman. I just handed the shells to them, told them to throw them away and that they should be ashamed of themselves. I shop there at least twice a week because it's only blocks from my house and I like to support local businesses. From now on, they only get my emergency business and I'll drive the extra few miles to Walmart and pay .16 cents for a lime instead of .50 cents.

Unfortunately, after the move to the new location by El Chico and the takeover by the new owners it began a downhill slide and never recovered (less inventory, less hours, etc...) The outside of the store was very nice, as I entered the store it was well lit, so I proceeded on and began to walk down each aisle looking at all the different products on the very clean, well organized shelfs and refrigerated display cases. I walked up and down every single aisle in the whole store scanning the huge variety of products offered for sale. I noticed the staff members were diligently working stocking the shelfs, cleaning as they worked. This store is very clean, very well organized. As I completed my tour of this store I walked up to the exit doors and I stopped and paused for maybe 3 to 4 seconds then I proceeded to my vehicle got in and I sat there and felt a bit sad , I feel like it was because the whole time I was looking over your store I was never looked at or spoken to by any of your staff members.
