Horrible owner, terribly sexist and ageist attitude. Screaming at customers after a simple price query. Avoid 'Alpha Colour Print" on 127 Jamaica Rd in Bermondsey.
I just wanted to give anyone else going here a heads-up. Very upsetting experience. I went in and wasn't sure about the size of the photo I wanted to print and wanted to make a price inquiry. I was quietly and politely waiting for him to finish his phone call when I went in, he was quite dismissive and talking down to me (when asking about the cropping, £7 for just 1 small photo if he crops it, he started being rude and defensive about his cropping software oddly), I mentioned he was being a little rude, this seemingly triggered him.
Things quickly went down hill. It got worse, he got up and started screaming in my face, getting closer from where he was sitting towards me. He said "how dare you call me rude, I'll show you rude, I'm going to Cuss You Out, you need home training little girl, need to be taught how to speak to your elders". I even apologised as I was very startled at being shouted at with his fists waving, he repeatedly said "you should be sorry, I'm going to cuss you out if you're here any longer, this is my shop, I cut my call for you".
I left as he continued screaming, fists waving, veins protruding in his face. This is despite me calmly talking to him, not sure if he has anger issues? He went from zero to a hundred within a minute in response to one comment calling him out on his rudeness politely.
AVOID. For your own sanity and safety. Much better printing shops out there either way, this was messy and unorganised-looking. Never mind verbal abuse being hurled at you.
p.s. look at his other 1* reviews, over the years he clearly has a track record of screaming at customers. Google isn't displaying my review yet so posting on Yelp. read more
