I brought my mom here for some self-care. She was having some difficulty with sleep, so I suggested a massage and a foot detox. I found this restaurant on Google and called to see if they had availability for the day.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful. She was able to schedule me the same day an hour later. The spa is located in a corner building. You have to put a code on the door to be buzzed in. Then you go up a few stairs and you'll see the lobby area.
We checked in, and we filled out health questionnaires. Then I turned them in once we were done. The massage therapists took us to the room and gave his an overview of the massage protocol.
The massage was very relaxing! Both masseuses had good pressure. My mom and I enjoyed the scalp massage and aromatherapy implemented in the one hour relaxation massage.
Once the massage was over, we got ready to go to the other room for the foot detox. It was our first time trying that service. A different therapist came to give us an overview of the detox procedure and gave us a document that went over the meanings of the color of the water. Once the overview was finished, she directed us to test the water temperature to see if it was okay. We put our feet in individual basins and got connected to a machine by the wrist. The water began to change color after a few minutes. The massage therapist came to check on us periodically to see how treatment was going. The wrist bracelet was a little itchy at times, but nothing major.
Once the 30 minutes culminated, the massage therapist came in to help us get cleaned up from the treatment. She went over the colors in each of the water basins. She was friendly and really knowledgeable.
Overall, we had a great experience. The business accepts tap payments, pesos, and dollars. The total was $152 for the four services plus tip. We will be returning when my mom wants to do some self-care. read more
