I came in for a Set today as a walk-in. I didn't have a very long wait and once I sat down I was quickly attended to. A man came to do my nails and did a very good job. He consistently asked if what he was doing was correct to what I wanted and made sure that I loved what I was getting. They were very professional and a lady came over to do the art on my nails and as you can see, it turned out very well. I went in for a pedicure and was immediately seated which was nice, however the nail tech I got was so rough with my feet and didn't seem to care that I kept saying "ouch!" He massaged my feet for literally 1 min and then painted my nails but used his SHARP NAIL to wipe up the smudge polished around my nail bed! I kept pulling my feet away but then he just laugh and say I was gonna mess up the polish! He then proceeded to talk about me and making fun of my nails with another nail tech. I knew this due to him pointing and her coming over saying "ohhh" then giggling!!! So unprofessional and they just want your money!!! He pretended like he couldn't understand me when I told him I didn't like how he painted them. He then burned me twice in the spot that he previously had cut me while using the electric razor. Got my nails done on Friday evening by a woman named Cindy who was very nice! She did a dip powder set with coffin tips. I noticed that some of the tips seemed sort of crooked when I left but wasn't sure if it mattered as I had never gotten any before. Saturday afternoon, one of my tips ripped off after being barely pulled, but took most of my nail with it. Today (Sunday) I went in to see if they would fix my broken nail as it had only been 1 day since I had them done. The woman (not Cindy) asked what I wanted done and I explained that I needed my nail fixed, she told me that there would be an hour wait. I told her that was fine. She asked if there was another time that I could come and I told her that I really needed them done today and didn't mind waiting (I work 10 hour days) and she told me that I would need to find another place to go or another day because she wasn't going to do it today. I left, but turned around and scheduled an appointment for the next day so that I could be sure they would not send me away. While the narrative of this conversation does not sound terribly rude, the tone of this woman's voice and her actions were awful. I have used Aloha before and am usually pretty satisfied. Last week I went to get dip powder on my nails and was not too happy with the result as they were so thick but figured it would be fine. Over the weekend my nails began to crack and chip. I went today to have the polish removed and to get a manicure with no polish. I was rushed along and left with some kind of substance on my hands which I have no clue where it came from (that is not my skin peeling in the picture, it is whatever was left on my skin). Also, she rushed taking the polish off and used the dremel tool rather than letting them soak. My nails are now full of scuff marks and just look awful. Oh and cut my thumb when rushing. read more

Just had the worst manicure experience ever at Aloha. I scheduled an appointment and they still had me wait 45 minutes. Kevin did my nails and attempted to rush through a dip manicure in 20 minutes... as if that would make the situation any better. Throughout the manicure he kept checking the clock, his phone, and yanking at my arms to where they were sore by the end. When he said I was finished I asked him to clean up all the dip and polish that was stuck outside of the nail. He replied by saying it would come off by tomorrow if I washed my hands. My friends and I made an appointment two days in advance and had to wait almost 40 minutes to be seated and get our nails done. Second of all, two of my nails chipped in less than 24 hours after getting them done. And within three days almost all my gel nails were starting to peel off. The gel manicure cost $30 dollars and it was not worth the money at all for my nails to already begin chipping within a day. Third, plenty of the workers either did not have a mask on or had their masks on incorrectly. Lastly, they didn't seem to have a cleaning protocol for Covid-19 either. Beware not following any COVID-19 regulations as well as I did not see evidence of the cleaning any tools and station after every customer. There was only one bottle of sanitizer. You can tell they have not cleaned. This is a very common place to contract a virus if you enter. make sure to clean all your things with disinfected even yourself. Very concerning how they're operating in this matter knowing what's happening. I didn't realize it until it was too late. I did gel polish and they did not clean the light right after I finish. I know nail polish isnt suppost to last long, but I had them just do a French tip polish on my nails yesterday, and it's already peeling off and bubbled up on the sides. Very dissapointing to have paid 23$ for my nails and toes to be painted. Mean while my mom was with me and wanted gel nails with white tips. So thats what she told him, but he done the regular acrylic nails and did one coat of gel polish on top, he got mad when she told him the 1st one was too short and when he was rude and made them extremely long she just didnt say anything bc she felt weird and in shock. So he rushes thorough and this whole process isn't much longer than mine being painted! He didnt even push her cuticles back till he was almost done! They looked aweful! I'm so pleasantly surprised at how great of an experience I had at Aloha Nails today. I have been to several nails salons in Seneca and Clemson in hopes of finding a salon that I walked away happy-rather than disappointed. Today I have finally found the place! Jessica at Aloha nails did a great job with my dip manicure and paid great attention to detail. She took her time and made sure my nails were even and not messy. I have no excess dip on the skin around my nails which I've experienced just about at every other salon I've been to. I highly recommend Aloha nails and am shocked at the low rating here on yelp. I went at about 915/930 and had no issue with wait time. Great experience and am excited to try them again! read more

This place is very unclean and social distancing was not a priority. I found this place to be very overpriced especially for the quality of service they provide. I'm not big on leaving reviews, but I am today, so that you can save yourself the time, and avoid coming here. I've had a few good experiences here, but the last 2/3 times I've been here, I've had an issue. Last time, it was my dip cracking the day after I had gotten them done.. Didn't even last a full 24 hours. This time, the whole manicure was trash, as you can see. He filed off all the dip along the sides of my nails, and you can see that two nails are completely crooked. I asked him to fix that, and he filed it for .2 seconds, and then looked confused as if they were perfect, even after I held my hand in various positions to show they were crooked. This is also not the shape I asked for, but that's another story. I had another appointment I was running late for, so I didn't have the time to argue with him about it being crooked, or ask to have someone else do it, unfortunately. If you come here, you'll probably be back.. And not because of the "good" service. read more

I came to this nail salon when it first opened up, because it was new to Clemson. I received great service from one of the male employees. However, when I went today with 3 friends we walked in and were instantly greeted with rude looks. Next, we were TOLD to come back at 6:30 (at this time it was 4:00). When we asked if we could sit and wait in the EMPTY chairs one of the employees told us to come back. We weren't even given a chance to say what services we needed. I had a pedicure, my 14 year old daughter had a manicure and nail tips (her first time getting them). My pedicure with Minnie was fantastic, and I highly recommend her. However, the man that did my daughters nails was down right rude. While my daughters nails were drying, she accidentally nicked one and went over to show him what she did. He got angry and scolded her for lying and blaming him for the nick, which she didn't do (I saw the whole thing, she didn't say anything, and he never gave her a second to respond), she was simply hoping he could fix her mistake before we left. I heard him repeatedly telling her, as he reluctantly fixed it, that if she nicks it again, he wouldn't fix it for free, and it's wrong to lie to try to get it fixed for free. All of this before we tipped. We left with my daughter in tears. It was supposed to be a fun Mommy daughter day and turned out bad. Sorry Minnie, even though I had a great experience, we won't be back. Your friend caused your salon to lose our business. Especially since my daughter never accused him of messing up her nails and he gave her zero opportunity to explain what happened. I would have happily paid for the repair instead of witnessing a grown man treat my daughter with disdain. I left you both a 30% tip. Minnie you deserved more, he deserved zero. I will start out by saying I have gave this place multiple chances. Two out of the four times I went there, they denied giving me service even though it says Walk ins Welcomed on the door. The two times I did get my nails done here (AFTER setting an appointment), I see at least 5 customers being turned away as well for not making an appointment. Anyways, I have been getting my nails done for 7+ years (gel, acrylic, and dipped) and this is the worst experience I have had to date. The guy was supposed to give me dipped SNS nails but he wasn't doing proper procedure (as in no primer, dripping the whole time, not a proper top coat, no buffing, etc.). I have always had a gel top coat put on top of my SNS nails as it makes them look shiny and even, which he did not do. He put on a different coat of some sort and told me they were done. After he told me they were finished, I mentioned to him that they didn't feel dry and that they were sticking. He brushed me off and was very annoyed. They looked very uneven and were scratching. I told the other nail tech and he knew that the man messed mine up. They both then started speaking in another language and the original man left. The new tech tried fixing it but drilled all the way into my cuticles making me leave with two bleeding cuticles. He wouldn't admit that the other man messed up my nails and all gave me attitude. I came in with longer than finger tipped nails and left with stubs. They didn't even offer a discount or anything for my troubles. It was the last two hours I will ever spend there. read more

Awful, I decided to try out Aloha because it's new to the city and wanted to see how their service was. It was the worst decision. The man who did my nails drilled down so hard that it caused so much pain. Every time I would jump he made it very apparent that he was getting annoyed but I could not help it, he was drilling down so far into my nail that I could feel a burning sensation on every singe one of them. Even after I told him he just said "it's because of the shape you want, I have to drill them down so you don't get any lifting". I'm sorry but I have been getting my nails done for a while now and not once did I ever have this problem. I went to a different nail salon to get my fill in today and the lady said that he drilled so deep that he left red marks ON MY NATURAL NAILS. Thankfully she was able to do my fill in without ANY pain. I will definitely be sticking to my old nail salon, Aloha nails is not worth it. read more
