In regard to her care of my family, she has been anything but. She has come across as unempathetic, cynical, distracted, rushed and uncaring. Dr. Tsai may be a good doctor for relatively young and healthy people, but she should not be caring for elderly patients. Most of all, patients with a complex presentation should not be seen by Dr. Tsai because her or her office (or both) are terrible at coordination. I wish I could say the other doctors at Mercy in Sacramento are better, but they are not. They care little about patients in pain, reciting platitudes and even at times suggesting alternative (quack) medicine (not specifically Dr. Tsai. She never has, but other doctors have). At times Dr. Tsai sounds completely detached from the patient's medical history, asking questions that should be well documented in their files. This lack of coordination can be deadly, as can be the way patients are booked like cattle, each receiving no more than 15 minutes of the doctor's time regardless of their conditions. This situation is endemic at Mercy and many other hospitals, but Dr. Tsai is certainly not helping.
