Homeowners: Proceed With Extreme Caution…read more Our experience with Phillip Burgess of Next Step Renovation was deeply disturbing and unacceptable. The project was abandoned before completion, leaving substantial work unfinished, damaged, and requiring correction--despite the significant amount we paid. Despite repeated attempts to contact him and resolve the situation, he has not responded. We have been left with additional expenses, incredible stress, frustration, and serious concerns about the quality of the work and licensing. We also discovered verified information about his past that raised serious concerns about his character and trustworthiness. If you are considering hiring him, do your research first. Verify licensing, get everything in writing, document payments and work, check references, and research his background.
