We ended up leaving and not getting her ears done, but before bed she asked to go back and see if Kody would pierce her ears. My little one will always remember her.

They checked in on how I was feeling throughout the entire thing, explained every step, and made me feel at home. I forgot to eat the first time I came and almost passed out afterwards and they fed me snacks, gave me water, and fanned me down until I felt better. What!? I have never felt so safe! I've been to other piercers for my ears and they always rushed the process and were never personable. But here at Pinky's? Oh, no baby. They are incredibly friendly and personable people and it's fucking awesome. I recommend everyone come here--especially if you're a woman, trans, non binary. This a safe space for queer folks!

Her cute place is adorable and so clean!! Pinky is so sweet and professional. She was very knowledgeable and helped me put my retainers in. It was like hanging out with a friend. Price wasn't bad either. I want to say it was under $20 for two retainers and putting them in.

The artist Phil let us play around on the iPad with the font of our choice! It was really neat. The shop is super clean and a nice chill vibe with music playing. I had researched a few artists in town, all are very busy and the good ones have a waiting list. With Black Swan, it's worth it. Due to the pandemic, they are even stricter now after the Delta variant with mandatory masks, no walk-ins, and no guests. I was in right before they enacted the stricter rules and was very impressed by how clean everything was. It has been a few decades since my last tattoo, but I was familiar with the process and knew about the sterilization, etc. They really put me at ease.Everyone was friendly and while professional, it felt like it was more of a family then coworkers there. So, while you cannot walk in right now and check them out, you can do so via their website and check out the individual artists on Instagram. If you are looking for a good tattoo artist, check them out, you won't regret it.

Pros: - did my…read morepiercings correctly - offered to exchange my industrial piercing for two lobe piercings - the workers were nice Cons: - old cigarette smell is really strong and not pleasant - i had to pay 100 dollars for two simple lobe piercings made with a mini piercer gun i found on amazon that comes with 12 of those SAME EXACT self piercers used on me for $9.99. pretty ridiculous pricing if you ask me. I'm not planning on going back ever again.

This place is not likely to be around a long time. After an artist (actually the apprentice, has…read moreonly done 12 complete tattoos in a lifetime) informed me that he turned away people if he didn't like the style of tattoo they wanted, or if it wasn't meaningful (not sure how he gauges the meaning in other people's lives), I knew that their attitude was bigger than their clientele would ever be. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. When you see on Facebook that the artists send out pictures of tattoos that they want to do on people, you tend to get the idea that they could really care less about what they can do for their customers!!!

I do wish that they explained in taking the posts out 8 weeks later that they unscrew from the front of the ear not the back. I used dental forceps and wire cutters to get them off. After cutting the post off one ear, I could reconstruct it and see where the problem was in removing the back, like a regular earring.

He wasn't, and not only that he had another client that went past my appointment time. I've since found another artist that is trustworthy. I had 4 names added to a tattoo I already had. I had asked The young man who i scheduled with if he could match the font that was used on my original piece. He was supposed to mark up a few for me to choose when I came for my appointment. Not only he had not done so, as I said he had a female in the chair and I had to wait until he finished hers before getting mine done. Believe me, if i hadn't already paid one third of the cost for mine, I would've just left. I hope I have the date marked on my calendar. I will post it if I find it. Denying that I was ever there isn't the way to handle a detrimental review.

I started coming here back in high school (I have not been in high school in a while) and have not looked back since. The staff were extremely welcoming and personable. They immediately greeted us on the walk in. The establishment is clean, even the restrooms. We walked in and immediately were able to get in with I believe her name to be Christina or Chrissy. She was great! My best friend and I came to Body Effects because on a whim she decided she wanted a piercing. I must say they are going to educate you. They ensure that you are knowledgeable of your piecing, rejection rate and best practices for longevity. They make sure you are as comfortable as possible and if you're having any doubts (which my friend did) they give you the space to decide what it is you really want without pressuring you. The lady (whose name as stated before I cannot remember) was extremely patient, she took her time, and she was noticeably big on privacy. She was also very sanitary. I love this! The pricing is great compared to a lot of the places in the area and did I mention that the jewelry is included in the price? Yes, that's right.
