I could not recommend marie more. we had to put our sweet kitty down last april urgently because…read moreshe started having violent seizures and we didn't want her to go through another. marie was available and came, comforting us, talking us through the steps and making sure Leah passed as perfectly as we could imagine. fast forward to this week our doggy was declining fast, absolutely hates the vet and we knew we wanted marie to come back to help her. she was able to fit us in and come help our sweet puppy dog be comfy. she does everything with love and empathy. cares for them once they leave the home like her own. we won't have any other pets but i will recommend her forever!

This is probably the hardest review I'll ever have to write but I can't stress enough how amazing…read morethe care we received from Dr McInerney (Dr Mack) was. If I could give Dr McInerney 10 stars I would! She was referred to me by our vet when we knew it would soon be time for our Marlee to cross the rainbow bridge. She was one of the most caring and compassionate people that I've had the chance to meet and she made sure Marlee's passing was gentle and pain free. I can't stress enough how wonderful she was and we're so glad she was by our family's side to guide us through this heartbreaking moment. She also gave us a clipping of Marlee's fur in a cute little heart shaped container and was nice enough to make us two clay paw prints, one for me and one for my son and daughter in law. I know this is one of the hardest decisions to have to make but please don't hesitate on calling Dr Mack. She really helped make this so much easier.

Wilton Manors

An Extraordinary Display of Compassion in a World Where Such Virtues Are Increasingly Rare…read more It is not often that one encounters individuals whose professional excellence is matched so splendidly by the nobility of their character. Wilton Manors Animal Hospital has demonstrated precisely that rare distinction. My beloved English bulldog, Rupert, a distinguished gentleman of ten years whose stubborn disposition is rivalled only by his considerable charm, faced a rather formidable adversary in the shape of a tumour. What followed was an extraordinary demonstration of compassion, integrity, and veterinary dedication. At a time when uncertainty weighed heavily upon me, I encountered a level of humanity that transcended the ordinary obligations of the profession. There are those who practise veterinary medicine as an occupation, and then there are those who regard the preservation of life as a solemn calling. The distinction, I assure you, is unmistakable. Because of the exceptional care Rupert received, my old gentleman has been granted something beyond measure: more time to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, presumably while continuing to behave as though he owns the entire household. Were compassion a title of nobility, these fine people would surely occupy the highest seats in the House of Lords. Five stars seem an almost comically inadequate tribute. My gratitude, however, is without reservation.

The tech, Rashad, was extremely rude. My dog has dementia which is already stressful . He ran out…read moreof meds so I went in for a refill. He said they didn't have the notes of his previous script. Fine, so I showed him the picture of the bottle that said "Tucker (dog)". And I showed him the automated visit notes that you get emailed to a visit showing that he's on trazodone. Makes sense, right? But not for Rashad. He said by showing him this proof that my dog was in these medicines I was being extremely condescending? What am I supposed to do, accept the fact that they didn't have it? He then said we need a doctor visit with the dog. I said why? It's not like dementia gets better. He replies "sir, I'm a certified medical professional" or something? Okay? Just because he woke up in the wrong side of the bed this morning doesn't have to make it any more stressful for someone dealing with a dementia dog. I waited an hour and never complained once. Marla (I think) was extremely nice at the receptionist and so was the doctor. This guy is one of those people that seems to take everything personal I guess. All I did was show the pill bottles and the visit summary!

AcuVetDoc - Maya Boxer Dog

Dr. Salvo is hands-down the best veterinarian we've ever had…read more We drive a long distance--past plenty of other vets--because we only trust her with our 8-year-old boxer, Maya. Finding Dr. Salvo was a turning point for us--and we actually have our daughter to thank. She discovered Dr. Salvo first and now brings her own dog, Luna (a beautiful brindle mix), for care as well. This is a family-level endorsement. Unlike other clinics where you feel rushed or pressured, Dr. Salvo schedules ample time for each visit and only sees one dog at a time. It makes a huge difference. She gives you her full attention, answers every question, and never makes you feel like just another appointment on the calendar. When other vets tried to shame us for not doing knee surgery on our girl, Dr. Salvo did the opposite. She walked us through all the options with empathy and clarity. We had already tried a brace--before we ever saw Dr. Salvo for the first time--and while it helped a lot, Maya still couldn't sit properly. Eventually, we invested in the Hero brace (the one Dr. Salvo originally recommended), and it made all the difference. We 100% recommend it. Along with the new brace, the targeted exercises and medication she prescribed really worked. Maya is finally sitting and moving with much more comfort and confidence. Dr. Salvo also trusts us to do our own injections at home, which saves time and stress--especially since I already do injections myself. That level of respect and partnership is rare. Her clinic is clean, calm, and has a cozy waiting room, though we usually just relax outside before the visit. Whether it's your first dog or your lifelong companion, you'll feel the difference immediately. Dr. Salvo, thank you for your compassion, your wisdom, and the heart you bring to your work. You've made such a difference in our lives--and in Maya's. We're so grateful for you and lucky to have you as part of this community.
