This spot is a perfect weekend getaway for the girls or for couples. We do an annual couples trip with spa services... dinner that evening... breakfast before leaving. The breakfast is awesome on the rooftop. And we schedule reservations (private room) at the on-site restaurant for dinner. Back to the Spa... There are steam rooms in both the men's & women's locker rooms at the Spa & you can order lunch to be served in the Serenity area After your Spa Service. Be sure to provide them with your preferences when booking the appointment and they will accommodate (deep tissue - strong, medium, light, etc.) #lovethisplace! read more

Alluvian Spa - Day Spas Near Me - Greenwood, Mississippi

The bed was not made properly upon arrival (no fitted sheet leaving the mattress exposed). Their massage roster depth is very weak; when a female therapist called in sick, their only available replacement was a male, so our two day spa vacation ended with no massage for either of us. They did give us a full refund for the massages given they were unable to staff appropriately to meet our request. Ultimately, we expected more for $310 a night. We will not be returning. Positive notes were the cheerful breakfast staff and kind repair man. read more

The front desk staff was nice and friendly, she made a suggestion that we get the custom massage because it would be tailored to our needs and included hot stones and deep tissue. My massage was an oily rub down with hot stones rubbed on my limbs for a minute or two. There was no intentional deep tissue work and I'm not sure the therapist really knew how to do that kind of work. If I hadn't spent over $200 on a massage it might've been relaxing, but as I started to realize I was just getting slathered with oil and not really having my muscles worked on, I found it hard to relax. read more

My experience here was fine. I've been fortunate to go to a few spas and I had seen this one recommended. I was traveling through and thought I'd take a day for myself. I'm not sure it was completely worth the time and money. No one was there to greet me initially and it wasn't clear which service I was having first or if I should fill out paper work? There was no calming music, it was just eerily silent the whole time and I wasn't really told where to go, some other women there told me. The services were fine. My pedicurist was very sweet. The facility was nice, just wish the overall experience was a little higher quality for the money. read more

My husband reserved a couples massage for our anniversary. They tried to put us in separate rooms!!?? It was hands down the worst massage either one of us has ever had! EVER!!!!! It cost almost $500 and we left WAY more tense than when we got there! The front desk woman was rudely explaining to my husband why he didn't even get what he expected. She in formed him He had to specify couples massage or couples renewal. Are you kidding me? The "massage therapist" were worse! The woman working on my husband used one hand most of the time, put forth ZERO effort & was noisy bumping into things and even dropped a loud metal lid. The guy working on me wasn't as bad as the woman but neither one had a drop of skill, rhyme or reason with their ANNIVERSARY RUINING mean joke of a massage! You can guarantee we will never go back!!!!! It's a shame too because it was once a very nice place! Now it's the type that charges people a ton of money for horrible service and facilities! My shower to wash the buckets of oil off me was lukewarm for about 90 seconds then went cold. read more

Do not bother having a manicure. My shellac mani lasted about 5 days. They also do not offer powder manicures. My facial was good but the technician did not talk about the products that were left out for me to consider purchasing. read more

Went here with three girls from work for the weekend. Had a wonderful time planned. Booked spa services for all three of us and all was fine and dandy until a hurricane like storm hit in the middle of our treatments. We were escorted to the stairwell where we spent an hour waiting for the storm to pass. We resumed our scheduled treatment but still were charged for the treatments we sat in the stairwell for!!! Although the manager told me we would get a discount, when I checked my bill later, I realized all the prices were unchanged from the original packages. Also, while doing our nails, we could see into the hotel room across the street where some guest were going at it in full view. The nail staff was staring along with the customers..according to them its a regular happening. Some nice window covering and a more professional demeanor would have been nice. read more

I've been to several spas all around the country. There are few that compare to the experiences I've had at the Alluvian. This is a 5 star spa. From the moment you check in until you leave, the staff are dedicated to ensuring you have a memorable experience. They cater to clients of both sexes. They offer anything from basic services to elite procedures that can be quite expensive. Their unique product line is available for sale in the lobby and can't be found anywhere else in the Delta Region. read more

One of the most amazing experiences of my life!! Nothing but good things to say about my entire experience! I had the riverside renewal bath and then a 30 minute neck and back massage. Heat towel put under my neck while relaxing music played. Then a facial and finished up with a pedi! Can't wait to go again!!!! Highly recommend!!!! read more

I absolutely ADORE this spa and although I don't live in MS, when traveling, I attend it as often as possible! The staff is very friendly and professional, the spa itself is very elegant (unique with its MS paintings and location) and verrry relaxing. They also carry a lot of the products I like. I love everything about this spa!! read more
