Buyer beware! Check your homeowners' premiums every year!
I was charged $7,652.75 for a homeowner's policy, which was going to be increased again for 2026. When I called to ask why, I was offered an 'auto bundle rate'. When I removed the bundle discount to determine what my premium would be, it was $2,557.63. Allstate overcharged me for YEARS. And now, despite having asked Taryn consistently about wanting to be connected with underwriting, she just went quiet. They'll tell you it's because of your credit rating, which is BS. I have excellent credit, so it's clearly because they made an error and won't own it.
This may have happened when they took on the policies written in the Clinton office years ago (which is where I initially purchased the policy).
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more
