I cancelled a policy on behalf of a mutual client and they chose not to cancel it and after about 90 days reached out to the insured stating they would only backdate it 30 days meaning they wouldn't honor the actual effective date. As an agent you take care of you customers regardless of what company you write for. State Farm has a bad rep at being dirty with cancellations but I have never experienced one this grimy except from this agency with RUDE, LYING, INCOMPETENT agents.. Beware of the Matt Staropoli agency and his rude agents!!
