All-state wanted to replace the bumper of the car with used parts. The insurance company of the car that rear-ended our car offered to replace it with a new one (AAA), so we dropped Allstate and went with AAA. We figured had to keep our life insurance with Allstate because we would lose everything. Yesterday (some 15 or 20 years later) I am retiring and my wife and I went to Brenda's office to inquire about our life insurance. We learned after several decades of paying into our policy that it would expire in 3 to 7 years and at the end of that time we will get absolutely nothing. After paying 50,000 into this police we could keep paying on it for 5 more years and if I don't die within that time we would get nothing or we can cash it out now and receive (half) 25,000. You struggle your whole life to make things easier when you get old. I am not saying All State has done anything illegal but this company has no ethics when it comes to writing policies. Please if you have a policy with them take it somewhere and have it checked. You're in good hands with Allstate "MY ASS"
