After reading some great reviews here, I reached out to Ela. Within moments, I felt the difference in the level of compedency and attention. Ela went above and beyond. She called me that evening and began working on my policy. The next morning Ela called and went through everything in the policy and also got me the best rate. Within moments I had the right policy and everything necessary was emailed to my mortgage broker. The company seems closely knit and culturally aligned with the area of Brooklyn and Queens. I highly recommend Greenpoint Insurance Brokerage!

I don't ever write reviews. However, I have a huge problem with insurance agencies and the fact…read morethat most of them seem to be operating in the dark ages (or at least before the internet). But Bungalow's simplicity and amazing online experience was such a departure from my previous encounters with big insurance agencies, that I'm compelled to write a review! Getting renters insurance is annoying and I held off getting it, putting it lower and lower on my to-do list. But then I heard a horror story of a friend being responsible for 20k of damage to her apartment building after a faucet was left on in the middle of the night, flooding her apartment and causing damage to the ones below. I started to inquire about where to get my insurance from. I couldn't bundle it because I don't own a car, so I wanted a simple policy with no hastle. I asked a couple of colleagues who they used. One said Farmers, but he said that it was an absurd process to get set up, having to talk to an agent on the phone and answer questions for 45 minutes. Another colleague said they got it through a new online agency called Bungalow. She said she did it all online in under 15 min. Didn't have to speak to an agent, just had to fill out an online form on Bungalow's site, click confirm and that was it. So instead of being an annoying task that I kept pushing to the bottom of my to-do list, using Bungalow was easy and fast, allowing me to move on with the more important things in life, like catching up on Game of Thrones :)

We never dealt with Farmers before and were a little skeptical at first. The office is on a second floor of a newly renovated building, place is very clean and modern looking, we only had to wait for a few minutes and a very friendly agent by the name Christina welcomed us warmly. Honestly speaking we weren't planning to sign anything up right away but 10 minutes into quoting we were pleasantly shocked by how much more we were paying to 1 of the "most advertised insurance companies on TV" that we had for almost 10 years and the switch was no brainer. Farmers Insurance AMatin agency not only improved our coverage but we also saved over 25% in our first year with this agency and in addition they will give us an additional savings of 20% at renewal. We are thrilled with their professional service and exceptional follow through. Highest level of service with the most competitive pricing. We are happy to recommend this firm to everyone. Don't hesitate and see Christina now, she will save you a lot of money. Two thumbs up to Farmers Astoria.

She was empathetic, informative, and just being genuinely helpful. I had a great experience talking to her and she also gave me some helpful information on insurance policies in general etc. Just a very nice person and being nice will pay off eventually. They managed to reduce my premium by about 40%. I also got a quote from another brokerage called Sammy's and they were one of those typical poker face insurers and the rates were not as good as Farmers. Thumbs up for Christina. I will switch to you guys!
