My very well- known insurer who had a local office three blocks away from my home and had insured my house, cars and provided extra umbrella insurance for years, told me the damage was not covered but that I could add sewer and drain coverage at an additional cost in the future if I wanted. I got a quote from TIm Todd at Allstate and switched. Apparently sewer and drain claims are the second most frequent home claim and I had gone all these years without it. Mr. Todd's quote included sewer and drain, decreased my deductible and was still slightly less expensive than my prior insurer. And I feel that less expensive isn't always to my benefit if I don't have the proper coverage when you need it. At this agency, I found an honest, thorough agent who will make sound recommendations for my insurance needs.

When I inquired whether anyone else in the office could handle the request in Ms. Carls's absence, no alternative was offered, and the representative began to provide an explanation as to why she could not assist. I just googled how to do it online and was able to complete the change independently. It is disappointing when staff exhibit a lack of willingness to perform their duties, which I find quite surprising.
