Mr Thorne is very personable and takes great time and concern with his clients. I LOVE Gayle! she always brightens my day and gives me courtesy reminders. Some companies would be ready to cancel your policy for a forgotten payment but Gayle gives a reminder and asks if there is anything that she can do to help. The entire office gives me the feeling that they have me and my family's best interest at heart! i am very satisfied with the rates and customer service that i receive from James Thorne Allstate read more

Everything with this office had been pretty good regarding my auto/homeowners policy up until two months ago when our auto policy increased by $38 dollars per month. When I called to figure out why the increase had occurred, I was given a generic response of, "sorry, we forgot to tell you, and it was due to a nationwide increase overall." They claimed that all insurance companies were going to experience similar rate increases and my only option to lower my monthly rate would be to decrease my coverage limits. I obtained a new policy with better coverage at a lower rate with no issues. Aside from a lack of communication and poor explanation practices, this isn't a bad insurance agent but remember to pay attention to your auto payment amounts. read more

The Thorne Agency has been my agency since 1998. The office staff is always friendly and willing to help at anytime to make sure I am getting the best rates I qualify for. A lot of agency owners will run and hide from their clients to avoid talking to them. Mr. Thorne always has time for his customers. Ms. Gayle is just like your sweet ole Granny. She loves to help and is always ready with a piece of wise advice. You can't go wrong with this agency. I recommend to everyone! read more

The people at Van Horn Insurance were so helpful and easy to work with. It only took one phone call and email back and forth to get it taken care of. It is such a relief to know that if my ring was ever lost, stolen or damaged, I can call Van Horn Insurance and be able to talk to someone on the phone immediately without waiting on hold at a call center. I will definitely be switching over to Van Horn for my homeowners insurance and any other future insurance needs.
