No. We thought that by using Brightway as an insurance broker we would experience better customer service since most large companies are now fully automated. We were sadly mistaken. After 2 years of being with Brightway, we found we did just as much work as if we were on our own. I had to follow up to ensure we received all discounts, and still got the run around with automated messages and voicemail. On the rare occasion that we were able to connect with Ryan, our Brightway representative, we always felt as though we were bothering him mid snack or something. We received a letter from our insurance carrier that we needed to reach out to Brightway as they were no longer authorized to broker for them... hmmm. We never heard from Brightway, so we found our own insurance online and cancelled Brightway after 30 min of transferring to incorrect depts, telling us we could do it online, couldn't find it, so after a big sigh, the female customer sales rep finally says she'll take care of it on her end.. Lackadaisical customer service, nothing special.

New to Florida we did not have time to investigate the best insurance companies so went with one…read morethat was easiest to connect with but after a few months we noticed the customer service was horrible and the rates were high so I took the time to look into other companies and called our local State Farm Agent and was connected to: Andres Vicentti, Account Manager. From the first phone call Andres was responsive and followed through with each request with clarity and professionalism. It took a few weeks to go through our current insurance policies in order to compare and evaluate what State Farm could offer us. In the end Andres was able to match our old policies to State Farm policies and in some instances he was able to actually get better coverage for less out of pocket costs. In the end we switched both automobiles and our home insurance to State Farm, saving us over $1000 a year. And because we are retired that savings is a huge positive for our budget. If you don't have State Farm it may be worth a call to Andres to see if he can get you good coverage at a reasonable price.
