    Wow, this is one of the most disrespectful agencies I have EVER encountered. With no warning from…read morethem we received a letter our homeowners was going to be canceled. They used outdated information and pictures. Trying to get a call back or return email is like pulling teeth. When my husband called to question they immediately got defensive and yelled at him!!!! Gave them benefit of doubt, but did my own research. I found much better prices. When I called to cancel, calmly, the woman got immediately defensive. Started to say, loudly, you didn't give enough time to call back (five hours) Claimed we never read the email with quotes. We did, when I told her I found a cheaper quote, well then she got REAL mad. When I told her we were unhappy with lack of communication, she said something I couldn't quite hear, but I don't think it was very nice. She then hung up on me in a huff. Very unprofessional behavior. I do not recommend you use this company, unless you want to be yelled at more than once by their employees. It won't really let me reply, but I'm not going to say much because I don't think it's is really required. I'm so grateful to be out of your company. Our frustration has nothing to do with the insurance company. Just you. We actually spoke to them at corporate due to your incompetence, and they also criticized your behavior. Please I would love if you would share the conversation, especially when she hung up on me. I recorded it too just in case this happened so please share and then I can share what actually happened because I never raised my voice once, got a little startled when I was spoken to you in such a rude manner probably a little frustrated, but I don't raise my voice to people as it doesn't get you anywhere. A lesson you lear because you lost a customer due to this. I will not comment again on any of your lies and posts, have a great day and I really hope you learn how to treat people in the future.

Finally the day of pick up occurs only to discover we could not get the insurance paperwork. We waited on hold 45 minutes with no results, except horrid music playing and commercials for the insurance company. Mr Botwick, who by chance was listed as an agent on google, answered his phone and not only did he help us ... he did it expediently and sent a charming email confirmation immediately following! He was not our agent but after the dealership experience, I think he will be.

I am having horrible trouble accessing his life…read moreinsurance funds (totaling nearly $1M) which are in a MetLife Total Control Account (an account similar to a bank account where the funds can be placed). I contacted the Steven Botwick Agency simply to try to get a phone number for MetLife corporate offices in the US, and prefaced my call with the acknowledgement that I knew this agency was not the correct number. I expressed I hoped someone there might be able to direct me to someone who could help. When I politely finished my explanation, the man who answered the phone said "are you finished?" I asked if he really just said that to me. I was in no way rude or discourteous, but was just trying to explain the nature of my situation. His response was, "Yeah, I did." Wow. So I'm a new widow who is having trouble accessing funds that MetLife holds and this person found it appropriate to be unbelievably rude to me. All I can say is, stay far, far away from this agency in particular, and MetLife at large. It are a horrible, poorly run company. Buyer beware.
