The menu was very easy to read, and provided enough variety in order to find exactly what you were looking for without needing to compromise on your appetite. The waitress was very friendly and provided her opinion on local favorites without demeaning other options, always a deal breaker for me when places do that, so she gets special love for her taking care of us that night. Once our meals arrived, it was time to dig in. The food was hot, prepared exactly as expected, and in typical Texas fashion there was more than we could expect to eat in a single sitting. At Chopped and Sliced BBQ, you will never leave hungry. Honorable mention to the fried Okra. I became the star of the night as almost everyone at the table couldn't get enough of it. The vegetables were very good, but there was too little food and the tea was not in the table. It would have been do much better to have pitchers in the tables. Instead, guests had to continually go to the side tables, then carry glasses of tea through the crowds. Overall, it was not a great experience, especially when we had better food and experiences from other caterers in Lubbock.
