Most, if not all appointments every 3 months just consists of me paying expensive insurance co-pays to just be looked at and receive refills. Not much conversation, concern, or empathy. So, 3 months ago, my regular dosage was cut in half. Half of what I'd been taking for 4 years. No consultation about what changes my body would go through in adjusting to half of the regular dosage. But of course, my body did go through some drastic and very uncomfortable changes. It was felt. Eventually, I ran out mainly because sometimes the pain was unbearable and I just took my regular dosage to get some relief. Anyway, I call the office to get a refill called in. This was the 6th. My appointment would be on the 13th. By that time I would be completely out. I was told to call back on the 8th when the Dr would be back in. Waited. Called back on the 8th to then be told to make do with I have until the 13th because there was a SIX day difference in a 3 month time frame whereas I had gotten my refill early. Again, no empathy, no level of concern, no nothing but nonchalance. That's it. My feedback is over.

When I started asking questions she told me that I may need to find another doctor to treat my pain. I thought that's what I was there for. I can deal with doctors that don't have the best bed side manner, some are just left brained people that deal in facts, but I always appreciate the actual work and results that they get. She does not need to be in a specialty that requires a little compassion when you are dealing with people that are at the absolute end of the road. She doesn't uderstand or care that by the time people get to her they haven't slept in months, haven't been able to leave their homes to enjoy time with family and friends, they haven't been able to go to their childrens extra curricular activities. After getting a referral from my doctor to go here I went in. After only two treatments my back was 100% better and not in any pain. This year I sprained my right foot. I was in a lot of pain and it was very swollen. I once again got a referral from my doctor and went to see Jay. I went in with my foot in severe pain and limped into his office. After his treatment I left pain free and able to walk out without limping. I highly recommend if you have any type of pain going to Mission Rehab and seeing Jay. I'm a total believer in his way of treating pain. Very friendly office folks.
