So everything was fine on check in yesterday…read more I get to my room 103 and the first issue I encounter is the heater/ac. Apparently, the temperature gauge on it is all missed up. There is one range of numbers where I could not tell you what the temperature was because not all the bulbs brighten up. Two ranges that actually appear like real double digits are 40+ and then 10+. Weirdly enough, this is not in Celsius (that is what I originally thought). Needless to state, this needs to be maintained better. Then I go take a shower and the shower has the H (hot) to the left and C (cold) to the right. I was sitting there for 10 minutes waiting for the water to get hot, before I thought to myself, "Why not put it on C and see what happens?" There was the hot water. -_- It is at a three star because both items worked; however, not as intended. I have another day here. Stay tuned. 09/16/2025 Breakfast was small in variety, but not bad. Hot foods: Biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, and egg beater eggs Bakery items? Make your own waffles, prepackaged honey buns, slices of white bread in plastic, and whole bagels wrapped in plastic Dairy: Yogurt, one gallon milk bottle for cereals (four of them) Really to the point. I had to ask for ketchup and the front desk individual just had forgotten to put them out. I had taken four sausage patties and a honey bun and I was good to go. They do not rotate meats, as shown on a daily menu. The first four days of the week sausage patties will be served. The last three days of the week, bacon "slices." 9/17/2025 Breakfast was the same. Edit: An hour after the start time (6:00 a.m.) I did see bacon today. Interesting. So do they just randomize the food? I guess I have to give a star back. The bacon was just the right amount of crispy and the smell basically made its way over to my room because I was on the first floor. They have a tea that they do not give to one in the rooms, lemon/ginger tea. Throughout my stay here though, they did not any decaffeinated options for tea, which I have seen at other hotels. Noticed that the room does not have a microwave or any digital clock (not like they are ever on the right time anyway). I have to write that the only way I knew a microwave was nonexistent was because there was nothing telling the time (usually I reset the microwave clock or use it to have easy access to time). Yes, now days, one can use their cell phone and I even have a wrist watch (who still uses those?); however, it is just convenient to see the time from bed level.

I took it, but there didn't seem to have any concern. She certainly didn't look surprised. I was told the manager would call me the next day. He did not. When I called back, the receptionist informed that a refund could not be issued since I paid through a third party. Jay, the manager, didn't have the decency to call me himself.

I had the gentleman at 5:30 p.m. CST that time bring some more from the breakfast room. For good customer service, this should be replenished and quality assured to make sure guests do not have to remind the staff. I also suggested to him that the hotel put lemon in the water or, if the hotel could start putting lemon in the water. When I received my room number and card, I went to my room. Nice room; however, the cable here does not have Travel Channel. That means no Paranormal Caught on Camera tonight. :'( I went to use the coffee machine and noticed that it was missing a front toe and so every time I pressed it, it would bank to one side. This needs to be switched out. 05/21 YAY! Breakfast finally has the hot foods this visit. They had the sausage patties, biscuits and gravy. They also had hashbrown patties (like they would have at McDonald's, but softer). I had gravy over that and it was great. They also have a variety of teas. One glass container has earl grey, another has herbal tea (rooibus hibiscus), and still another has two kinds of tea Dandelion and each and Chamomile. My comment would be, why put chamomile in the breakfast area? That type of tea is good for sleep. Probably should put this out for the guests next to the ice water and so if a guest is coming in from traveling and they want a good night's sleep, they can have that choice.

Stayed while visiting LWC & was comparable to any Hampton Inn or Fairfield or Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast like the norm, but did not like they added cheese to the eggs so if you don't do dairy it's basically carb-only options for bfast (happy cow cafe nearby is freaking amazing & fabulous coffee & food). Oh, we got a 2-Q 'suite' (just a bit larger room with a sitting area plus refer/micro) which was totally worth the extra 10-20/nite PLUS it had double sinks & a nice oversized bathroom!

The good first. We stayed in cabin 6…read more The mattress is some kind of memory foam mattress and wonderful. The people that own/run these cabin are super responsive. I had to work and the Internet was good. Nice trees around and waking up to birds is super relaxing. The bad. This cabin plus the bathroom is just too small. There is no good place to lay out and open your luggage or hang anything up. No place to really lay out bathroom items or take clothes in when you are showering. The bathroom needs better ventilation. It smaller super mildewy. No mildew any where but the mildew musky small was strong. I wish the sheets had been softer and thicker. If you think "I am camping" the cabin is a perk. If you are wanting hotel style room, this is just not roomy enough.

I wound up contacting them and asking for towel and they only gave us 4 towels and 1 wash cloth for 4 people. then they said we wiped our feet or something on some towels and God is our witness we would never do that at home or anywhere else. I've worked in a motel for 14 years so definitely not something we would do. they laid on wooden slab bench for close to 36 hours I can't say if it had something on it or not but it poured the rain that night. we started researching to find a air BNB for our next trip.

After showing up, I realized the photos are the booking site were clearly altered. My wife and I had been driving so long, that we thought it would be okay until we pulled back the sheets and saw how dirty the room truly was. The sink had some kind of unknown substance on it. So we decided to go to the office and politely ask for new sheets. As soon as the woman rounded the corner she had an immediate attitude and grew more rude and condescending as the short conversation went on. But still, I asked politely for new sheets explaining that the sheets in the room were dirty. She said "nobody has ever complained about the sheets, you are the first. Either way housekeeping takes the key with them at night" which after checking the reviews, that was bold faced lie. Quite a few people have complained, actually. So I then asked for a refund and she said "no refunds, you booked through a website too. It's just one night, it's not a big deal." So my wife and I then left justifiably upset. We grabbed our things and went 17 minutes out for our way to a new hotel. I would not stay here even if someone paid me, it is dirty, the staff was rude and did not even attempt to accommodate us. If I could give it less stars, I would. We arrived around 9pm, and was out of there within the hour. The room was clearly never cleaned Very disappointed as I grew up in this town.
