I originally had some issues getting things rolling. A lot of back and forth. I called over 10 different car insurance companies and none of them would cover me as I'm an American here as a student. I finally got a hold of Sam O'Beirne at Allianz and he bent over backward to get me covered! I have insurance for my dog Pepper with Allianz or perhaps you may know it as Pet Plan. She had to have an operation and they were great had agreed and signed everything off within 24 hours. Very glad for Pet Plan as the cost of the operation was nearly €600. They were most helpful and and considerate. read more

Oh god, now I know I'm getting old - I'm writing a review on an insurance company... if my 12 year old self could see me now he'd be utterly ashamed, next thing you know I'll be watching the news and reading newspapers instead of comics.... We use Allianz for our house contents cover and pet insurance. the former we have never had to claim on, the latter has been a god send - we have made 3 big claims on the pet insurance (having the unluckiest cat on the Planet) in the last 2 years. My name is Ricardo and my claim number is 2498888. my car license is 11D29319. The claim was sent on 11th of december. Since that day i've been calling Allianz to ask when i can fix my car. Every time they say someone will call me back in the same day giving me the details. THEY NEVER CALL ME BACK. Everyday i call and the same asnwer is given. Someone is going to call me back.
