I contracted this business to refinish my deck and replace my railings last summer. The work was to…read morebe completed in the fall before I left for the winter. It was not. Work was not supervised. Two areas of raw wood were left on my deck when they assumed they were finished. I photographed this and reported it to the business office. At first they wanted to paint these areas. I did not agree as I was paying for new decking, not a paint job. It had to be left over the winter when I out of town. This left my siding exposed over winter as the siding could not be replaced until the decking was complete. I kept a 10% holdback which they did not offer or agree to. In spring I had to chase them to get this work completed. I gave them until June 30/15 to complete the oversights. They did not cooperate or agree to this date. Finally work was completed in July. I have written the last cheque and hope never to have to deal with these people again. It is not that they can't do quality work, but the consumer is left to oversee and chase them.
