A fabulous group of physicians, PA, RNs, and ARNPs. We think they are the best around. We are particularly a fan of Kathy Sarantos, M.D.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!…read more Rosenberg performed a breast implant removal... en bloc and lift.- Jan 2021 My truth is: *** I was never contacted by him or anyone from his office to see how I was doing after surgery. ***The bottoms of the breasts looked horrible. One had an indent and both looked square. I had to find another surgeon to revise them. I would not trust Rosenberg to do a revision. ***The areolas look jagged and are too large ***They were not helpful with providing information to submit an insurance claim (submitting it on your own...not through them) ***He knows how to be a salesman and uses the line that he will treat you like his favorite Sister. ***When I went back to him and showed him the bottoms of the breasts, he wouldn't admit that they looked bad, he just said. "You're not crazy." His awful way of acknowledging without admitting. PS) I have been in contact with several women who also had their implants removed and are not happy with their results by him. PLEASE consult with many other surgeons!

Dr Rosenberg and his staff are superb!!! Big shout to Holly!! The outcome was so much better than I…read morecould have ever expected!! I was turned down by other breast reconstruction surgeons. Peter Sarantos: Botched Surgery and Lies…read more Before the surgery, Peter Sarantos stated the surgery would be easy and I wouldn't have complications. Those were his famous last words. During the surgery Peter Sarantos was not careful and he tore blood vessels during the laparoscopic procedure. After the surgery he made no mention of tearing anything. Instead he told me a lie. He concocted the lie to explain away the two large incisions. The procedure was supposed to be laparoscopic but I have two large incisions. I found out the truth of what really occurred during the surgery by obtaining my medical records. This would explain why Peter Sarantos was so nervous after the surgery. According to the medical records, Peter Sarantos had to make the large incisions to repair the blood vessels he tore during the laparoscopic procedure because the blood vessels were bleeding uncontrollably. That is what actually happened. He deliberately lied to cover up his mistake, but it only created more problems. Shortly after I was discharged, the torn blood vessels ruptured and I suffered an internal hemorrhage. I fell to the ground from the pain and crawled over to the phone and called 911 for an ambulance. I had to have emergency surgery. The ER team at NFRMC saved my life. The hemorrhage filled my pelvic cavity with blood and blocked the blood flow to my right leg and caused a DVT. That too was extremely painful. What was supposed to be outpatient procedure turned into a 9 day hospital stay with 4 days in the ICU and hospital bills totaling $238,000- all because of Peter Sarantos carelessness and lies. Peter Sarantos should be grateful to the emergency room team for saving my life. I would like to see him lie his way out of the death of a perfectly healthy person over a simple hernia surgery.

BAD BEYOND BELIEF:HERNIA SURGERY BY PETER SARANTOS THAT ALMOST KILLED ME…read more Peter Sarantos fell far short from acceptable standards of care and I sustained injuries resulting from his incompetence. He was not careful during the surgery and tore blood vessels during the laparoscopic procedure. And this is just after he told me that I won't have complications from the surgery because laparoscopic surgery is safe. Those were his famous last words. After the surgery he made no mention that he tore blood vessels. He said I bled a lot during the procedure and he had to abort the laparoscopic procedure and make two 3" incisions to the area. This contradicts the medical records which state he tore blood vessels. He lied to me to cover his blunder. The torn blood vessels ruptured when I got home and I suffered an internal hemorrhage shortly after discharge from NFRMC. It felt like being shot in the groin. I fell to the floor and crawled over to the phone to call 911. My pelvic cavity filled up with blood and the the blood in the pelvic cavity blocked the blood flow to my right leg and caused a DVT. My entire right leg was twice the size of the left, purple in color, and excruciating. The surgeon in the ER at NFRMC cut open the pelvic cavity to wash out the blood and look for the leak. To make a long story short I ended up staying in the hospital 9 days- 4 were in the ICU, and it was supposed to by day surgery. Another stupid thing Sarantos did was put a blood clot filter in my body without consulting the hematologist. Later the hematologist stated it was a big mistake because I didn't need the filter and it can cause a host of complications later. The PACU nurse at NFRMC obtained consent for the filter by shoving the consent form in my face and said "Sign it or you will die". She did not explain anything to me, and I just woke up from the emergency surgery. That is illegal. I attribute the hemorrhage due to excessive activity after the surgery. 1) the day shift nurse at NFRMC blew me off for the night shift. I received no care for 8 hours after surgery. I received no food, no water, no vital signs were taken, no pain medications were given, not even a blanket. The nurse would not even get me a blanket. I woke up in a bare bed with a urinal and when I asked her for a blanket she responded " I am not your nurse" and ignored me for the next 8 hours. I had to get out of bed without any help and walk up and down the hall to find a blanket. When I asked the clerk at the nurse's station "Who is my nurse?" She became extremely rude and yelled "Cant you see I'm busy", " I'm working on it" No nurse or tech came to my bed until the night shift arrived 8 hours later. 2) the other contributing factor was Sarantos did not fill out the discharge paperwork correctly. I had to make multiple trips to the pharmacy and his office just to get pain medications. It should have gone smoothly. One would think Sarantos would at least do the discharge correctly after botching the surgery, but that was not the case. He screwed up the discharge too. Everything Sarantos touched he screwed up!
