I attended the Feb 2022 virtual class instructed by John Dokos and got more than my money's worth. He's an outstanding instructor that made sure we understood the material versus just trying to memorize data. Most helpful parts of the course for me were his personal accounts of executing projects and templates that organized information in a more sensible format. Under John's tutelage I passed the exam, above target in all areas, after two additional weeks of study and two practice exams. Not only did John pass on some valuable lessons; he connected me with classmates that have already opened some networking opportunities. If you truly want to grasp the material I highly recommend John Dokos for your training!

My instructor would refuse to educate me, from mistakes I made, but instead belittle me and even my peers. I have also been falsely accused of sexual assault by my RA, and I had nearly been terminated because of this. The RA had refused to hear my side of the story, and had sent me to another dorm. Then the boss of the e building, threatened to press assault charges on me, simply for placing my hand onto my friends shoulder. There is a huge hypocrisy, drug, and fraud problem here on this center. I definitely do not recommend coming here.

On the phone and in person they reassured me, and in person they reassured me. I had a student in her final week. I asked for 90's blowout cut. The instructor came by once and briefly looked at wet cut hair. Everyone was so so nice. But it took her an hour and a half to do the cut, and I had already told them I only had an hour and a half. So I left without my hair really styled, and I ran on my way. When I got home I gave my hair a proper wash so I could put product in and style it. That is when I noticed the terrible butcher chop that was my hair. I reached out to the school to get my $20 refunded and they said I needed to email them photos to the owner. It has been nearly two weeks and radio silence. Please see photos for evidence. The two sides of my hair looked nothing alike. I had to cut it to the highest chop, so now I have a bit of a lob when I already wanted to preserve my length. And I had to pay someone to save my hair so this $20 cut has cost far more. Just know not to come here for a cut...she was in her final week and will be in an ABQ salon shortly.

First, the location was great for a paint nite event! The canvases were set up in the middle of the back area of the restaurant (not quite a separate room, but definitely separate from general seating), and everyone could see and hear the artist without competing with the regular restaurant noise. The lighting wasn't too bad either; a bit dim maybe but nothing that affected the paintings drastically. Apparently this is a new venue for paint night, and I'm hopeful they keep having events there. Next, the instructor, Taylor was very friendly, patient and emphasized FUN over perfection - just what I expect from a paint night. Overall a wonderful experience and yet another fun activity in ABQ.
