Firstly the installer had no name tag visible saying who he was or what company he was with. When the installer was installing for my neighbor, he had to run cable around my apartment, which is fine, but I had no idea who he was or what he was doing, when I opened my front door to ask what he was doing, he told me he was and I quote "looking into people's windows" while he was on a ladder in front of my window. I am just baffled why a man would say that to a woman, and think that it was funny or a joke? I do not know who this man is as he had no ID visible and he would say this to a woman who was seeing what was going on around her front door and window. Highly inappropriate.
He finally did tell me what company he was with in a rude voice, but like I said since he has no visible ID saying who he was or what company he was with, I called Alliance (that is the company he said he was with) and yes the lady I spoke to did verify that it was one of their installers. I had to speak to him through my screen door window as he had the box of coax cable pushed against my screen door that I could not open my screen door had I needed to leave my home.
When he finally let me know that he was installing cable,(actually his words were " I am installing cable if that is alright with you" in a very rude tone) which once again that was no big deal, but where he was running lines, my phone lines run right up there, I just want him to know that I had lines that ran where he was installing and since they have been missed up by other installers before to please be careful, instead of asking if there was something I was worried about, or anything he just rudely said "I ain't going to mess with your lines" Just very very rude installer. read more
