I wrote a heart-felt positive review for Mike Lefevere in May 2018. I could write for him again…read moreand again to make sure he gets recognized because he deserves everyone's attention in real estate. In my book, he won the realtor of the year award. Yes, he is that good. He is my realtor for 2 years and handled three separate transactions for me successfully and timely for my 4-bedroom single family home in Northern Virginia. He located my first year renter on the second day when the house was on the market. Then he located my 2nd year renter prior to the house on the market. Further impressive, he found me the buyer offering a full price on the first day the house on the market. We closed the house in 21 days. Who can beat his record? This is not coincident. It is his skills, his effectiveness and his critical thinking. As his client, I reap the benefit through and through. Ah, BTW, he has a whole crew support him so you get more than just him. That's a strong force you would like to have when you are ready to sell or rent your house. Mike was with me and had my best interest in mind at all times. That impressed me. For instance, I was ready to pay workmen for whatever work they rendered. He would prompt workmen insightful questions that I would never have thought about. And further he would negotiate the good deals with workmen as he was dealing this for himself. I treated him as my business partner and appreciated his brilliant advice. He is a very logical thinker and smart in many important ways (e.g. set the right price point, know what needs to press and what to let go, etc.). We worked very well together. He never stepped on my toes but was always there to support me 100%. I wish I had more houses for him to sell/rent or house to buy. On the other hand, for those who need a really really GOOD realtor. Here you go. He is the ONE to catch. I already spread my words to all my friends because I wanted them to have the best real estate service. Good luck to you too!!!

I can't say enough about how great Kenneth was as our realtor. I was not the one purchasing, but I…read morewas helping my boyfriend who was looking for his first home to buy in Rockville. Kenneth was INCREDIBLY patient. We went to look at so many properties together, almost every week for 2 months, and we really took our time--and Kenneth never rushed us and was super encouraging. My boyfriend went for 2 properties before he finally got one (third time's a charm right?). This covid market is incredibly hard on buyers during this time, with the best looking properties receiving 10+ offers. Kenneth was very spot on in estimating how much a place would go for, and what it would take to try and beat the other offers--the only reason my boyfriend lost to one, for example, was because my boyfriend just wasn't willing to go any higher, but we found out Kenneth was right (of course) on what it would've taken to win. Kenneth is incredibly responsive and so easy to talk to. We are extreme night owls, and my boyfriend hates checking his email. Kenneth is so easy to reach (we communicated via messenger), and so responsive. And even late at night at 2 AM, my boyfriend felt awful messaging him, but Kenneth was truly okay with it and was still awake, and still responded. I always ask a lot of questions, but my boyfriend asks a LOT of questions (sorry bf haha), but Kenneth has always been able to answer all the questions, or looked into it if he didn't know the answer. One VERY valuable knowledge Kenneth possesses (aside from his spot on realtor instincts) is he's familiar with renovations and can give you a rough estimate of how much a renovation for, say, a bathroom, would be. His family apparently works in that field, so it was pretty neat and informative to ask him to estimate how much a kitchen renovation would cost (while looking at the sad sad kitchen), so we can take that cost into consideration. This was also valuable where Kenneth could advise what to renovate to ensure value add, if we were interested in the property. Last, Kenneth is just so generous and nice. One time after seeing 4 houses, I asked him later that night how the rest of his day went, and he said that he was so tired, he fell asleep at a home depot parking lot (which I found hilarious). But, I found out later that he was at the home depot to buy materials to help his client (seller) polish her "as is" property, and without her knowing :). He's a great person to work with--you won't regret it! Thanks for everything, Kenneth!

As FIRST TIME homeowners, the process looks overwhelming and each step of that process from scouting the area for available homes to the home inspection and all the paperwork to sign felt much more daunting and nerve wracking than expected. BUT that is why you need experts on your side and we found that in Bob. He provided us with guidance every step of the way and had an armamentarium of information necessary for us at all decision points to figure out what our next plan of actions were. He was also cognizant of our time crunch in finding a home quickly and ensured our VA loan was in the hands of the right mortgage company. In the end, we found ourselves a beautiful home that fit our needs and budget in a great location. We will miss living in DC proper, but are excited to live out in suburbia knowing DC is just a drive/metro away. In addition to Bob, Compass works as a team and there are other superb realtors such as Gordon and Elyse who selflessly took their time and energy to helping us. They do a fabulous job in the DMV market as a whole and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any of your real estate needs.

I met Frank while I was working for the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, so I really had…read moremy pick of Realtors to choose from. I picked Frank because he wasn't part of the old guard, the Realtors that believed in the old ways. He was coming out with Frnaklymls at the time, and it allowed me to do a lot of house hunting on my own time, right from home in the evenings with my wife. I don't have the time some Realtors assume you have to go looking at houses. With FranklyMLS I was able to do so much research. That's how I like to shop: online in my own time. But when I had questions or needed help he was right there to assist. I even used it again 6 years later to find my next house (in a different area, so Frank wasn't my Realtor --his suggestion was for me to find a local Realtor that knew the area). Sometimes my Dad will send me links to his Blog forgetting that I know Frank and if I hadn't already read the post, I certainly had plans to do so. Over the years I've gone back to just ask him advice, like "I'm thinking of downsizing and buying something smaller and closer to DC. What do you think about that plan?" He always gave me honest answers that struck me as going against making money. I'm not sure that if I were in his shoes I wouldn't have just said, sure thing, and helped the person pursue their plan. If you want someone with integrity, that isn't it just to make a commission and will truly have your best interests in mind while helping you find that home or sell your home you should choose Frank. If you want some that uses the latest statistics and trends, thoroughly researches it all, you should choose Frank.
