It didn't stop there. Dr. Champion also prescribed medication ,which always began with the conservative approach. He saw my stereview wasn't the 5 minute pson monthly and a medication review appointment wasn't the 5 minute follow-up consumers get today as the. Dr. is escriptiing the same meds while the consumer tries to explain how the medications were making them feel. I endorse and recommend Dr. Champion unconditionally. Let's start with the good parts, first the office is nice and clean, a little confusing to find at…read morefirst but overall 5. Now on to the bad, the receptionist is not a real people person to say the least. Speaking to her you would assume that she is the doctor, and that was her office. Next, the first appt. was with the nurse practitioner, she gave me a once over and asked about if I needed any medication refills, she didn't know they still made one of the medicines that I've been on for almost 20 years. She said she knew my previous Dr. who had just retired, and said he was a good Dr., which I totally agree with. Then she said that she would see me again in 3 months. After rescheduling the next appt. a day later the receptionist calls and said that the Dr. wanted to see me instead of the nurse, so I made the new appt with the Dr. Then when I had a month's worth of medicine left I called my insurance company to request the refills from my new Dr. A few days later the receptionist calls me and says that the Dr. doesn't prescribe this medicine and he was going to change it to another one, and he thought that this dosage was to high on another medicine so he was going to lower that. All these changes before I had even met the man. No future plan of action, no step by step, "This is what I would like to do", just I don't like this so i'm changing it. Then the receptionist says "if you don't like the Dr.'s decision then you are free to go somewhere else." So now I am off to another Dr. So my advice would be to make sure your new Dr. will work with your current "cocktail" before just jumping over to a new one.

Miserable!! Doesn't give 2 shits about his patients and will discard you like yesterday's…read morenewspaper!! He deserves -5. Very forgetful. Office is nice but he's nothing but uncaring. If you can throw someone out that's in a horrible state you're NOT a good psychiatrist. Isn't even man enough to discuss not seeing you anymore. Makes you a new appointment and sends a letter saying he won't see you anymore before your appointment. After 6-7 years he just discarded me. Also he will not release my record's. Had secretary tell me it's illegal for me to see my record's. I researched that thoroughly and he MUST give me my record's because they're legally mine!! Don't fall into this mess!! There's better,more caring psychiatrists that would never do what he's done to so many. I was seeking help from a hotline He simply does NOT care about you. I'll need to sue for my medical records. He's caused me to be in a very unstable condition and just does NOT care!! It's awful and I hope I can save others from his mental abuse,EXACTLY WHAT WE DON'T NEED,a psychiatrist that makes you a mental mess.
