Allen is great. Nice guy, talented barber but he should raise his prices! I haven't tried any of the other folks at the shop so I can't comment on them. Have a seat and wait for Allen! read more

Leaving for NY I needed a haircut, not know any local Barbers I used the discount book to find one. I went to Allen's expecting Male Barbers which is what I'm used to, there were none at that time. There was 1 Lady cutting hair & 3 Men before me, so I watched. To me this Lady was not only great but actually interested in their appearance. SO I had my hair cut & chatted with Susan. She was SO nice & did a fantastic cut, I will definitely go back to Allen's IF she is there, so I will call ahead to find out. Joe Sexton read more

Dan was horrible the hair on the left side of my head was longer than the right, quite lopsided I went home and cut it myself. Had I known I could have saved $15 dollars and not had to listen to Dan complain about customers and his political philosophy. Although I tried to stay neutral by staying quiet he insisted until he provoked an argumen read more

My husband spent $17 at Great Clips for a not so great haircut. We were on vacation in Dunedin and we stopped by Allen's and got that shaggy dog haircut cleaned up to a true manly look. And the cost was a lot less! We made up for it with big tip because we were so pleased it was only right. Allen did an awesome job and next time we go to Dunedin we will plan my husband Joseph's hair cut around it!! read more

The absolute Worst and laziest Haircut of my adult life. F for Effort. No clue as far as layering. I didn't get the woman's name but it could have been Hellen K. Never going back again. The Absolute worst. read more

Great haircut for a very reasonable price. Allen is super personable and easy to talk to - I felt very comfortable for my first time at his shop. Definitely will be returning! read more

I am a repeat customer for 27 years I always get a great cut. Like me a normal Walk-in are welcome (no reservations needed unless you would like to). If you would like to wait in line the staff (Allen, Dan and Sue) keep the atmosphere fun/ funny. In the past my hair style has changed several times. I would definitely recommend Allen's barber shop for just about any style or hair type as the staff always seem to know what they're doing. read more

Allen was wonderful with my 4 year old grandson! He was gentle, patient and kind! My grandson loved the hair cutting experience! Allen gave him the best looking haircut he's had to date! I will be bringing him back to this barber shop from now on!! read more

I'm absolutely impressed with what great customer service they provide. I always come in and the sweetest lady sue cuts my hair and she does it just the way I like. If anyone is looking for an affordable barber shop that is the best at what they do, come to allens barber shop located off main street in dunedin next to the neighborhood walmart. I come in every month I need a haircut and I could never be happier. Come in and see Allen, Sue, and Dan!!! read more

Dan is absolutely horrible. Must be blind as a bat with all the stray hairs and lopsided sideburns I was left with. I've had better cuts and friendlier service from a barber school. Dan did not speak one word to me during the cut. His way of summoning me to the chair was a point and grunt. I only found out his name from the banter with the other stylist at the shop. This is also the only "barber shop" I have been to that did not finish the neck with a straight razor. Are they really licensed barbers or just hair stylists operating under a barber shop name? read more

Allen is the owner and a professional barber. If you want a terrific cut/style, you must ask and wait for him in turn. You will not be disappointed ever. His associates are just marginal at best. read more

my name is doretta. i recently moved from NJ to dunedin florida, and was fortunate to stumble upon this great & friendly barber shop. due to having very short hair, i can go to a barber, and i gotta say, they all do a great job and ya can't beat the prices!!! i am very picky about my hair, regardless of it being short, as it's gotta be perfectly even, and thats exactly how i leave there. every hair perfectly even!!! real nice personnel as well and short wait times. i highly recommend it!!! read more
