Came in on a Sunday at 10am before heading to the football stadium…read more It was peaceful, quiet and no lines at the popular brunch buffet. The buffet had a great variety of food options (all tasty) - my favorite was the salmon, shrimp and grits! The espresso martini was delicious and hit the spot before the game since I hadn't had coffee yet. I'd highly recommend the Sunday brunch before the crowd. At about 10:45am, the crowd started to pick up. Service was attentive and joyful. I'll be back!

Unfortunately, the welcome could have been much better. When I walked in, there were about five or six employees near the front, but no one greeted or acknowledged me. I was looking around trying to find my friends, and a simple "Hello" or "Welcome in" would have made a big difference. The buffet was a mixed experience. The eggs were delicious, the ham was good but slightly salty, and the potatoes tasted good but needed to be hotter. The waffles were also good, and the bacon tasted like regular bacon. The salmon was cold, so I didn't really want to eat it. Unfortunately, the grits from the shrimp and grits were not good at all, and I would not recommend them. For a buffet that costs almost $40, I expected better dessert options. There were only about four or five choices, and none of them really stood out. On the positive side, the mimosas were delicious, and the bourbon bacon cocktail was absolutely amazing--even though I could have done without the actual bacon. Our waitress was decent and took care of us, but the service wasn't especially memorable. I would visit again, but the food needs to be served hotter, the dessert selection could be improved, and guests should definitely be acknowledged when they walk through the door.

Husk has come a long way since this Sean Brock establishment shocked the Charleston culinary scene…read more Nowdays owned by a small restaurant group, Husk has evolved into a different kind of kitchen. It's not good or bad, but certainly not the same. When it comes to the Nashville outpost, it's located in a truly stunning historical house. It's the kind of place that one immediately feels the character of and that element preserves the charm of the original Charleston location. Pimento Cheese in Benne Seed Wafers with Candied Collar Greens is an impressive dish, especially accounting for the fact that it sits on the Happy Hour Menu. Confit Chicken Wings are spectacular and juicy. The vibe is chill yet elegant. The team working here is sharp and attentive. As a whole, Husk is a piece of history in the South and while Chef Brock now runs other establishments in town, his innovation has set this place up to be a continued celebration of Southern Cooking.

We started with the meatball skewers, which were great, and the sauce that came with them was perfection. I also have to mention the Cabernet, one of the best glasses of wine I've had in a while. The one drawback was the dinner menu felt a little limited on options. That said, what we got delivered. My fiancé had the strip steak, which was really good, and I got the pork, which was also amazing. Overall a really good experience. The 3.5 is mainly because we spent $250 and still left a little hungry. Other than that, a really cool place worth checking out.

It's more than just a drink -- it's an experience.] * Ambience is fantastic and captures a true Tennessee vibe. There's plenty of seating, whether on the deck, on the lawn (where you can bring your own camping chairs), or inside the shop, which features all sorts of unique trading post decor and merchandise. * Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. * Very family-friendly, especially on the lawn. * Pricing is about average for gourmet coffee -- which isn't necessarily a downside or a compliment. In short, whether you're looking for a place to hang out with your family on a hot summer day with an iced coffee or meet a client for a morning latte, Bradley Mountain is a fantastic choice.
