This horse was funny about his head, hard to bridle and was now bleeding from under his forelock. Dr. Alldredge helped unload and took a look at the injury. We forgot to tell him that horse didn't like anyone messing with his head. The horse forgot, as well. After soothing our horse and reassuring the kids, he had him stitched up in no time. The kids listened intently, as Dr. Bud explained the importance of wound care. He loaded the horse in the trailer, kids in the truck. Then he waved for me to stop. There were no lights on the trailer and he wasn't going let me drive it that way. Next thing he was on the ground wiring the lights. Fine service for sure. That was 45-50 years ago and none of us have forgotten the kindness. Oh, the kids followed his directions thoroughly and the healing was swift.

Secondly, we are from out of town, and that wasn't an issue, even on a post-Christmas weekend. They gave me the option of an afternoon or following morning appointment. Third, the Doctors and Techs are super friendly, and most importantly, super kind and attentive to your pet. The doctor gave me specific instructions, diet recommendations, and a detailed estimate, should the situation require a surgical solution later.
