They sold other useful stuff though - office supplies, greeting cards, ribbon, small kitschy gifts, a life-size model of the Berlin wall and moon boots (no I won't tell you what those are). This place also develops photos. Happily I don't believe they develop malign diseases or nasty habits, just photos. The woman running the counter was around the shop straightening and dusting as I browsed. She didn't whistle while she worked, but was pleasant enough when I bought my roll of tape. I don't know what tape should cost, but I think it was reasonable. I tired taping myself to a lamppost with my new roll of tape, but gave up promptly. Next time, maybe I'll buy some wrapping paper and try present-ing myself to the pole.

They sell a brilliant range of brands as extremely reasonible prices. They are also very helpful and will order in any items that they may not have. They are one of the only shops in Folkestone to sell some items such as Sailor Jerry rum. They also have a good selection of international largers that include many Polish and Czech bands. They have a good selection of real ales, including many from the local area. I would much rather spend my money in this shop than in the local supermarkets as they are very fairly priced and offer fantastic customer service.

There are random boxes strewn about the store and the security guard watches everybody like they're stealing something. I was visiting from USA so I just wanted to find some "British" treats to take home... Chocolates, chips, stuff like that... They had a decent variety of those types of things but otherwise this would be a store if you were in a pinch and needed a quick snack and that's about it. There's an M & S store right around the corner at the entrance to the train station that's much cleaner and nicer and has more options plus the same thing.
