She has been in the fashion industry for many years. Her designs are timeless, ageless, modern, and sophisticated. She carries mostly neutral colored clothing but she does have some great pattern pieces as well. Some signature aspects of the Elaine Kim line are reversibility, drawstrings, and wide leg pants. Love her effortless and functional fashion. One of her values is sustainability. Most of her clothing is washable including her silk pieces (Yes!!). She also only uses vegan leather (#animalfriendlyfashion). Another thing I really like about Elaine Kim is that she actually has videos modeling her own clothing on her online website. I've never seen another designer do that before and I just think it's the coolest thing! There is free parking in one of the Sunset Plaza lots adjacent to the store. The shop is also in proximity to many shops and restaurants. There are two other Elaine Kim locations. The Santa Monica one is more like a typical storefront and a more traditional shopping experience.
