I strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this agency, as their practices are not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous. Collin and Emily make a very strong first impression, but eventually, their true colors show. As I write this, I already expect the "owner," or whoever is managing the account to respond with the same gaslighting I was met with for the last year regarding "open lines of communication" and "we care", however, I would be remiss not to speak for my community of the disabled and elderly who desperately need care, especially after my complaints of negligence were confirmed by the Colorado Department of Public Health. The agency's negligence is evident with many of the caregivers they sent to my home. On multiple occasions, people were sent with little to no communication and asked to perform nursing cares outside of their scope of practice (if licensed at all), putting my health and safety at risk because they were ill-equipped and untrained to handle the specific needs of my condition. It is deeply concerning that the agency would allow such practices to occur, as they should be aware of the potential consequences. Regarding nursing care, I did not receive the required supervisor visits from a licensed nurse to assess my care. If I called the office/owner with a nursing care need or urgent situation, I was dismissed if answered at all. For any nursing requirements that caregivers on my team could not perform, I had to call dispatch health or go to the emergency room. Even when caregivers presented them with something concerning or marked a change in my condition, there was no follow-up from the agency. More alarming is the fact that the agency hired caregivers without conducting thorough background checks. As a patient, I deserve to have trustworthy individuals providing care in my home. There was a caregiver sent to train at my house for 3 days where she was exposed to my door codes, medication, family (including minor child), intimate nursing cares, etc... On the 4th day, it was brought to my attention that she was fired because her background check came back with a felony. This complete disregard for patient safety and privacy is both shocking and unacceptable. A major issue with this agency is its evident nepotism. The fact that the company, including "Human Resources", is run by family members creates an environment where miscommunication, negligence and incompetence thrive, and accountability is non-existent. When concerns were raised, it was clear that the family members running the agency were more concerned with protecting their own interests than addressing the issues at hand. It is incredibly disheartening to see an agency who should prioritize the well-being of its patients fail so spectacularly in basic communication and organization. This review comes with great anxiety as I've learned that my personal information and care details were disclosed to external individuals. The frequency of HIPAA violations during my time at Mile High was astonishing, raising serious concerns, especially for those who dare to voice their worries. After my family and I expressed our concern and advocated for better care, the company retaliated by discontinuing my care with a blatant disregard for the Colorado Code of Regulations, leaving me in a vulnerable position without proper explanation or alternative arrangements. Their failure to safeguard patient privacy and continued care not only breaches trust but also fosters a fearful atmosphere. Don't be misled by certain reviews; the company pressures and bribes clients and employees for positive feedback, and some reviews are from the family itself. For loved ones, please prioritize agencies that value patient care, professionalism, accountability, and uphold ethical standards, avoiding nepotism, incompetence, and disregard for regulations.

The after hours staff was phenomenal; everything you would want (and expect) from hospice. They were caring, not only for my mom, but for me and my family as well. I wish they could have been our regular caregivers. The problem was the rude, unemotional, uncaring nurse that was assigned to my mother. She was always in a rush, wanted to know how much medication I was giving my mom and told me that it was better that she sleep than be awake to eat or drink something. When I asked, both the nurse and CNA refused to give me any progress report on my mother's condition. Even though I knew that my mother's condition was terminal, the timing of her death came as a surprise. Once my mother passed, the hospice sent a social worker to "babysit" me until the mortuary came to pick up my mother's body. In contrast, when a close family friend was close to passing, his hospice service gave his family the option to have to him pass at home or move him to another location. I was never given that option and my mom's passing was another day at the office for this service. I let my mom down by putting her care in incompetent hands. God forbid I have to make another hospice choice for another loved one, but it will definitely not be "UN" Compassionate Hospice.

Diane the nurse has been steady, calm, clear about care, and William the chaplain, very present, kind and caring. These empathic and experienced staff were helpful every step of the way as we cared for our 90 year old friend. They were knowledgable, listened to the family, and client, and were very respectful. They were caring and made sure that our friend was stable physically and emotionally every step of the way. We aren't at the end yet, but I know they will be there for us as our friends' transition approaches.

Dr. Cade visited with us as a family, to talk about Stan's medical issues and explain their services. A nurse came to visit with him every few months and was available to answer any questions we had. When the team at TruCare found out that Stan loved dogs, they found a therapy dog to come visit. When Stan entered hospice care, he continued with the TruCare hospice team at Longmont United Hospital. The staff and volunteers were wonderful and provided excellent care and support to our whole family.

I walked in his room and a very sweet lady was holding his hand(s) and talking to kindly to him. I witnessed this while he was there. He enjoyed that! Soon I met the whole team. My first time there was so amazing, I told the doctor that if I every need to be in hospice away from home - I want to come there ! All the nurses/whole care team were kind and very experienced. My husband even had a mountain view! Daily they kept me up to date on everything, with loving compassion. He had a death doula a day or two before he passed. His last night on earth, he had the most beautiful woman (inside and out) who did a calming, relaxing Comfort Touch session. He was able to let go a few hours later. I was there in the room. It comforted me to ring the Himalayan salt bell or chime, as his body was wheeled out. I can't thank Tru Hospice enough for their kind, expert and compassionate care. Nancy Dutton 2. Early 2026 I started attending the Widows, Loss of Spouse Group at True Hospice in Lafayette. This became a haven for me, still is, being with other people who lost their spouse. We all understand what each other is going through. I will continue attending for a long time. The facilitators are so kind, gently guiding us as a group. I don't want to miss a group, it's so important to my well being. A big sigh for the help and relief I have received! Two other friends have attended this group. 3. Beaded Memories Class - A Life Changer for me was my First Beaded Memories Class in Februrary 2026. I was kind of lost or unsure of my future. Facilitataors compassionate and very helpful in creative activities. Other people and I arrived tired, sad - by the end of making our photo boxes with beads and pictures to store our memories, we were all smiling and happy ! We didn't want to leave the room. I discovered this class sparked and restored a part of me that was missing during the years of caregiving. It was so good to get back that creative, joyful part of me. I felt and still feel great hope and more direction in my future. Another friend now attends this class every time she can. I have attended 4 classes, each with a different craft to honor my loved one. Thank you for making this a year-round class of hope and joy. 4. Sound Healing class - I have attended and gained peace around the loss of my husband since starting these classes once a month in 2026. The teacher is so loving - love emanates from every cell of her body. She offers a wide range of sounds, plus her presence is beautiful inside and out. I go home calm and able to rest - removes restlessness I feel since my husband passed. 5. Mindful Meditation - I have been able to attend once in 2026. Very calming, and I went home with relaxation to sleep better. I have done a lot of mindful meditation for years on my own to help with anxiety of Loved One's health issues and then death, but will attend more in the future. 5. I am so grateful that the founders started this amazing organization Tru Hospice, which has made a huge difference in my grief journey ! I tell everyone about Tru Hospice, what they offer and how they have helped me. What I learn and feel in these classes pervades my life every day now. Such a relief! Yes, there's an ongoing journey still, but I look forward to the assistance these groups offer each time. 6. Also grateful for the generous sessions with Joan Hummel - we had a compassionate connection, fun and loving. She made a big difference in my grief journey. I will always have a warm spot in my heart for Joan. Her last session affected me for life - with my picking out of different hearts that reminded me of him! 7. A friend and I attended the annual ceremony honoring our loved ones passing at the Unity Church. We brought pictures and enjoyed all the heart-touching stories we heard. This is my third company to experience home health care for my cancer syndrome, and i can tell you for a fact, even with this organizations short life, in terms of these types of companies, of only 3 or 4 years in business, they really have it together and they are fair, they listen and they really know how to get things done. In the past two years, I've had two health care companies who say they will send someone as a replacement for a no show, and i not only don't get a call from the poor agencies in the past that there will be no one to show up, they take up to two months to get a replacement...even a temporary person to cover for your sick caregiver. Then, there is the fact that other agencies say they do their homework and backgrounds on people, but they do not. ABELE DOES!!! They have wonderful people, for the most part. No one is 100%, but these people are close to having a 100% best staff award this year. I have two really great care givers, Hanna and Heather, so if you want to ask for some one that is great, ask for them. Also, when Abel gets the word that there is no one coming due to a health or car issue, what have you, they have some one in that time slot within minutes and a phone call to let you know what the plan is and who coming!!! Bravo!!!, for such amazing on the spot care! This tells me they truly care about the client and want them to feel comforted, protected, and well managed. They take steps to assure that their employees are on time and don't leave early, like all the others. They assure me that if by the fault of the crooked care giver lying to cover their agenda, they are quickly debt with! Meaning, they even get a sense that this person is stealing or not doing their work, they fire them...not the case when i caught people red handed in the past stealing within other agencies...they simply DO NOT TOLERATE ANY KIND OF CRIMINAL THINKING OR BEHAVIOR AT THIS PLACE! YOU WILL FEEL SAFE AND PROTECTED! Also, they are so careful to make sure that the person who is caring for you, cares only for you, so they have you set up with only that one person, plus you can count on that person not taking advantage or screwing around while there, as well as knowing that your care worker is there to focus solely on YOU, only....no phone calls, or texting, or messing around or talking your head off...they come in and get right to work. There is no garentee that you will get the exact fit for the care giver the first time right off, but they sure make it their business to try their hardest to match you with a personality that does care, that matches your lifestyle and one that really is very compassionate. The company tries super hard to communicate efffectively, with many calls, three months checks, and phone calls regularly to ask questions and they make it so easy to speak the truth. They make sure you know, that you come first, before any dollar amount or their reputation...they want you happy, safe and comfortable. This is one of the most effective and efficient ran organization Ive experienced yet. The only single draw back is if you're hard of hearing, you might have a little trouble with accents, but most people don't have hearing problems, so this isn't really even an issue. Also, I think this is good, but others don't like it...but you will be thinking that its kind of strict, but its all done to protect you! I'M USED TO THEIR RATHER STRONG GUILD LINES, BECAUSE I KNOW I CAN PUT MY FAITH IN WHY ITS BEING DONE THIS OR THAT WAY, NOW...AT FIRST IT MIGHT BE CONFUSING, BUT YOU CAN PUT YOUR TRUST IN THESE PEOPLE. My mother and I are truly blessed to have found this facility! I can sing the praises of their Life Engagement Coordinator, Crystal Caprio! She is the reason that I trust that the facility always has my mother's best interest at heart. Upon my unannounced visits, I have found her to be a ray of sunshine in a difficult situation. The staff on the wing is wonderful and notifies me of any situations that they want me to know about, even if she gets a bruise from bumping her arm! They are patient, caring and kind. Crystal regularly makes sure that I am informed of my mothers health, care, changes, decisions, attitude, activities, diet issues and mood! The Business Office, for the last few years has been a nightmare to work with. However, there is a new Business Office Manager and I have real hope that the office will improve it's communication.

As I briefly looked at survey reports I would say that the nursing dept. needs to continue to make some improvements, and in my 50 years working in health care it can be done with good leadership and training. I will be discharged tomorrow…read more I have made pronounced improvement in my upper body, core and my non-surgical leg strength and flexibility enabling me to become as mobile as possible returning home. As I am still non weight bearing on my new ankle, I am utilizing an iWalk 3.0, at the suggestion of the Physical Therapy team, which allows me to climb up and down the 16 stairs I have at my residence entryway which I was very concerned about. The knowledgeable PT and OT team here is superlative and I would highly recommend this facility and their entire staff for anyone rehabbing post-surgery. I couldn't be more pleased with my visit here. They all care about you and it shows.

The employees in admissions at this place acted like the genuinely cared and wanted to help! I went to take a tour and spoke with a few employees who all gave me some advice to get my dad out quicker from the other place. Needless to say I was stressed and wanted to get my dad moved and so I followed the advice. Well it was horrible advice that made my dad lose his insurance approval for any place! I left messages, emails for both the ladies that gave me advice and also copied upper management into the emails to ask for additional advice since I listened to them. I guess I should not be surprised they went radio silent and I haven't heard back from anyone. I honestly would have been ok with just an apology!!!!!

Each required different levels of care with Mom going to Generations and Dad landing in Assisted Living. Both sides were exactly what they each needed and the loving care of the employees throughout their stays exceeded all expectations! We feel so Blessed! The journey into the pandemic and the steps that were taken with each governmental step/mis-step was incredible! They adapted and accommodated every issue and protected our folks! The activities, events and dining was spectacular! Mom loved the activities more than Dad and took part in them most every day. Dad was more selective, picking the ones he knew he'd enjoy and relaxing to his movies and sports when he felt like it. We couldn't have found a better place to take care of them! 5 Stars isn't high enough! We'll miss alot of names but so many went the extra effort to help them. Thank you!
