It was pretty scary at first, specially being at the care of others and having to trust that they know what they're doing while being afraid of anything happening to you, again. Like falling or getting it more damaged. But the girls there have had a great deal of empathy, & have been very caring. They have a lot of patience and have cheered me on throughout my recovery journey, which has been an emotional rollercoaster as well. Today I'm walking with a boot, no pain as of yet. I met Joe the physical therapist and he knew exactly how to treat what was botherinhg me. He'd stretch places not even close to the problem and they would directly affect the problem. I went only twice a week but over the course of a few weeks it felt better and better. Today I feel almost 100%. I'm only 43 but what I learned from what he's taught me to what I learned from doing, I'm confident going forward I'll be more careful to appreciate a pain free lifestyle. If you are looking for a good place to go to try this one and I definitely recommend Joe. And if you're like me and thought physical therapy wouldn't help, you should give it a shot because it does.

They work in sync like a band that's been playing together for years, lapping around and making sure all patients are engaged and progressing through the various treatments/exercises in their respective treatment plans. I came here in August with a ruptured Achilles that I had surgery to repair, and walked out (literally!) just a few months later, and far earlier than the surgeon had expected. That's a true testament to the time and attention everyone here gave to me, referring frequently to my chart and the well-taken notes, gradually adding weight and/or repetitions on, and mixing in new exercises when appropriate. I also really appreciated the overall vibe here. Good music is always playing (could be 90s grunge, pop country, or classic rock, depends on who takes over the playlist!) staff are all friendly with the patients and with each other, and there's a great mix of folks in here to chat with. The walls are decorated with staff photos, pics of their kids, etc. and little league team photos from the teams they sponsor! Short version: It's about as fun as physical therapy can be! She has been working with my son for over 12 months and when we first started coming here he was not even sitting independently. He is now confidently walking and running and even jumping. I've been seeing Joe Caprioli,…read moreowner and physical therapist for approx 1 1/2 years , and he radically changed my personal outlook, and prognosis from the orthopedic doctor I had been seeing for a fall that broke my elbow, other bones in my arm and greatly impacted my shoulder as well. The orthopedic doctor gave me a bleak outcome unless I would have him do surgery, and I take surgery very seriously. Joe would never tell someone they didn't need surgery, when in fact they do, because he doesn't interfere in what is in his patient's best interest, as his integrity is extremely intact. Joe is a highly educated , up to date , highly skilled, personable practitioner who knows his stuff. He listens and leads with sensitivity , and compassion. His expertise, natural instincts, and intuitive insights allow him to be attuned to his patient's needs and feelings, while educating you on what exactly is going on. I never feel rushed nor do I ever feel Joe's focus is elsewhere, and he certainly has a lot to oversee. Joe manages to stay focused on what he is doing, maintains his equilibrium and pleasant demeanor. Joe then executes his remarkable skills with the highest degree of confidence, which in turns fills the patient with the same confidence that they are indeed improving with the overall goal of restoring their mobility and function, while under his care and expertise. In the past I had been to other physical therapy facilities, and there is no one in my opinion that even remotely comes close to what Joe Caprioli does for his patients. First and foremost, Joe Caprioli is literally, physically hands-on, none of this "go over there and do this, then go and do that". Of course you are given self-exercises to do, but they are given for the purpose of complimenting the treatment that Joe has performed on you first. What you are told to do on your own is never a substitute for Joe's treatment, but rather a supplement to Joe's hands-on treatment. You will not feel like you are in a factory, and will feel like your treatment plan is truly tailored to your specific injury or issues, rather than a one- size -fits- all approach. You will feel the positive results of your sessions, which will exceed your expectations. I don't know what the status of my injuries would be today, if I never had been under Joe Caprioli's care and expertise. I may very well have had only limited improvement, while having to accept that the limitations would be something I'd have to accept and live with. I may very well have succumbed to needless surgery, to fund a doctor's next Mercedes Benz. Of course not all Doctor's are suspect, but as a patient one must be their own advocate, and listen to that little voice inside you, a voice that will never lead you astray. Joe Caprioli's approach, attitude, and treatment are exactly what getting physical therapy really means. Joe Caprioli will champion for you on each step of your journey back to wellness and feeling like the best version of yourself once again.
