When I needed moved 8 miles on a pretty emergent basis (my vehicle that I would have used to move broke down) to a storage unit I was hopeful that I'd receive the same service this time however, I did not. It started with my crew of two movers.. the younger of the two was great but the older man complained immediately about the amount of items they had to move. They were already over an hour late ... and complaining from the jump about the amount of items (which I had disclosed with the company in a phone call beforehand!) Regardless, everything was moved less than carefully. The photos I've posted only reflect a few of the damaged items but the damage to my belongings is so extreme that I honestly had to sit down and cry for an hour before I could even continue sorting through my belongings. The antique items were the most painful... the dining table is worth several thousand dollars and I guess the insurance situation was not properly explained to me... nor was I expecting my items to be so severely damaged. The cane backs to chairs that were PERFECT are so damaged that I don't know how I'm going to even find someone that can restore them to their previous condition. This was an item I had planned to have in my family for even more generations. Things are dented, shattered, dinged, no longer working. I was charged nearly $700 at the end which is WAY more than even discussed prior and the fuel surcharge alone was $90. $90 for 8 MILES!! 8!!!! I didn't realize the extent of the damage until returning to get my belongings the following weekend. We ultimately left my belongings there because finding someone who can repair the cane is probably easier in the Springs than it is where we moved to. This is going to cost a fortune. I'm devastated. I'd use All My Sons again but NOT in the Springs. I should have trusted the reviews and the things people had told me but I had such great experiences using them in Denver that I really didn't even think twice about booking with them. I feel robbed... almost $700 to destroy all my belongings and I'll pay at least that much to have these chairs and table restored now. Use with CAUTION!

The next day two gentlemen and the truck showed up, they looked at the bunk bed and explained how pricing works. To disassemble and remove the bed and mattresses was going to be nearly $500. That was out of my price range and declined the service that day. I guess pricing is based off the space the items takes up in their truck, labor is (I think) the first hour free then $50 per 15minutes after that. Mattress removal is $40 per mattress. Despite declining service, I want to say that the entire process from requesting a quote, to the time the team showed up was very good. The guys were very friendly and respectful and very knowledgeable too. Overall, I had a positive experience with this company and recommend it to others who might need items removed from their house.

Overview: Had a wonderful experience yesterday with this…read moremoving team. Had 4 movers at a very competitive price who were willing to move my husband and I out of two apartments and into our new house. They were kind and considerate of our home, and worked very quickly and efficiently. This team was excellent to work with, and Daniel was very communicative of any questions we had before, during, or after our move. They even removed trash for us and set us up with local cleaners to do a move out clean and carpet clean of our apartments for a great price. Can't recommend them enough! -- Setting up the move: I reached out through Yelp and they were extremely communicative there, answering all my questions and following up on my timeline. We did a final discussion over the phone before scheduling the move. Daniel was open to discussing pricing and adjusting the size of the team accordingly. He estimated around 6 hours for this move all in, and the final timing was 5.5 hours from the time they left their warehouse until they returned to it, so his estimate was very accurate! One small thing - I never received a confirmation email for their services ahead of time, which I had asked for, but Daniel was great about keeping in touch over text and made sure to respond to my confirmation about a week and a half before, and then send a text to confirm a few days before as well as the day before. So this is a very small complaint, and realistically wasn't something I needed to worry about! So just a heads up to expect communication by phone/text -- they will absolutely follow through! -- Moving day: They were able to move us out of our two 900 sq ft and 700 sq ft apartments in a little under 2hrs. Once they arrived at the new house, it took around an hour to move everything in. (To note we had mostly boxes and very little furniture, but was still much faster than I expected!) Each of the 4 team members was extremely courteous and very respectful of our home. I stood by the truck to let them know what rooms to put things in and they followed all the instructions to a T. We had a lot of boxes and trash from new purchases in our basement, including a huge 85" tv box, and they took all of it for us and loaded it into their truck after moving in our things. Was a small fee for taking the trash and was a huge help for us. We didn't know ahead of time we would need this service, and the team was flexible with us and agreed to this day of, which was exactly what we needed! -- After move: Daniel had set me up with a local mover to do a move out clean and carpet clean on one of our apartments, and he made sure to follow up to make sure I was able to get in contact with the cleaners and that they did a good job afterwards. Was a huge help to be able to set this up in one go and was very appreciative of the follow up! (Also the cleaners did a great job and were flexible with our schedule!) -- Final thoughts: This was an excellent company whose team did a great job and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone moving in this area. We will likely use them again in the future due to the quality of our experience yesterday. Their prices were extremely fair and they are willing to work within your budget to make sure you get the move you need for the price that works for you. They are flexible in their services, and do everything from packing and moving to junk removal and cleaning services, and are truly a one stop shop for all your moving needs. This happened from my daughter's door to the parking lot (there aren't any cliffs). We were compensated about $200 for a brand new $1800 refrigerator. We didn't want to tie up our time suing so we didn't. We had a Factory service tech come out to see if it could be repaired because the compressor was making loud noises. He said that it was both leaning and twisted after using a laser measuring device and wasn't worth trying to repair. Pretty impressive but not in a good way.

I hired Gorilla Men Movers for an in-town move. They did well moving everything, but they were idle…read morefor much of the time. I was quoted for a 2 hour move, and it ended up taking 3 hours. What's more, I noticed that for much of that time (about an hour), the movers were standing around doing nothing but talking on the phone to a friend. I tried to encourage them to get back at it several times, but after a few minutes, they just went back to standing around. I wouldn't mind them taking a break, except they charged me for their idle time. What's more, since I had to move a piano, they needed three movers to be present, which increased the hourly cost. Takeaways: don't trust the estimate, expect to be overcharged.
