We've hired Burton Tree and Lawn Service twice. The first time I took bids from a few others and…read morethey were by far the most reasonable. The first time they came out, they cut several trees that had grown behind our garage and shop and were actually lying on our roof. They also cleared a bunch of bushes and ivy that had taken over the sides of the garage. They came on time with a crew large enough to clear everything out quickly. They work efficiently and even took time to clean up the debris leftover from the job. The next time we needed to have trees cut back, we immediately thought of them. Again, they gave us a great price for the job we needed done. They're a great company and I highly recommend them for any of your lawn care or tree trimming needs. Hiring local businesses serves us as well as our community. We'll always call Brock the owner of Burton Tree and Lawn Service when we need help!

Windows can be a fortune and the big companies want to do all these demo's which we had already seen and frankly didn't have time for. The estimate was a fraction of what the other companies quoted and he came with his crew a couple weeks later for the install. Only thing that delayed the jobs was wind and rain... Two additional jobs later, they came back to help with some trim on the roof and a basement window that was leaking, I would highly recommend them! They went above and beyond and helped out with some things that weren't necessarily what they regularly do, but things that needed attention and I'm grateful to have found them. Please support local businesses! Thanks again to Joe, Angie and crew at H.E.W.S.

Then we remembered Chris with Blackburn out in Topeka. Gave him a call and, without hesitation, he committed to helping us that same day. Even though he had just gotten back from a trip to New York the night before, even though he was at church when we called him - he committed to helping us out. Because he was helping out another customer first, he didn't get to our house until around 6pm. It wasn't a straightforward repair - some difficulties had to be overcome. But he worked through it and, three hours later, we had hot water again. We really appreciated Chris' can-do attitude, professionalism, reasonable pricing, and willingness to go the extra mile. This is the stuff that builds loyalty and turns people from customers into raving fans. Thanks, Chris! We are Blackburn fans now.

We did pay more than expected but in the long run a second catastrophe was adverted, the shower looks awesome and the work is guaranteed. Did a great job and we are extremely happy.
