Design Build Unlimited is everything we had hoped. Our home turned out beautifully. Billy took…read morethe ideas in our dreams, drew up beautiful plans from our sketches, and executed the build with excellence, honesty and integrity. We have never seen a home framed this well (and most of our subs said the same thing). This house is SOLID. This winter has proved just how solid it really is. Billy uses good materials and doesn't skimp on quality. Quality is definitely what we got from Design Build Unlimited -- in all areas. There are so many things we love about this builder. He allows you to dream and then works hard to give you that dream. He has great ideas -- ones you would have never thought of. He doesn't force those ideas on you but works WITH you. Billy makes things happen. He treats his subs well (that's important to us) and chooses subs which deliver a superb product. He is conscientious, dedicated and wants his homes to be like ones in which he would live. He honors the thoughts of his clients and will give you clear direction if you are uncertain. He won't leave things to chance. We all know it's expensive to build a home and Billy tries to help you find good, solid solutions for making everything work together in your budget. He stands behind his word.....absolutely. We didn't know the Huttos before we moved here. Now they feel like a part of our family. We've built a home once before and our experience was not like this one. It was very troubling, actually. That builder was dishonest. THIS experience was the way it should be with any builder. You won't have to worry about being cheated with this company. Our home was worth the wait. Covid brought many challenges during our build. Our builder weathered all of them and worked even harder. That's the sign of a good builder who CARES. He cares not only about the product he delivers but he cares about his clients. There is no other company I can more highly recommend than Design Build Unlimited. 200% satisfaction and more............ If you want a home built RIGHT, THIS is the company to call. We say this without any hesitation.

The young man who showed up and removed my "fix" so when I went outside to see what he was doing there was water everywhere and could not find him. There he was sitting in his truck "working on an estimate for me"! He ended up spending an hour working on a "estimate" while at the same time accomplishing absolutely NO work. I was able to reduce the water problem again and clean up most of the water, again. He came back with an estimate totaling over $3,300, what!! He said I needed to do complete at least $950 worth of work, which included replacing a thermal expansion tank for over $259. I paid him the $49 service fee to come out and sent him packing. I called in Rhodes Plumbing who fixed my problem the next day for $200 including the thermal expansion tank. He hand me run down to Home Depot and pick up the tank for $45 and he installed it for me. So, Peterson was going to charge me 5x's the price of that tank. I had a friend who had a similar problem with Peterson but unfortunately she is older and doesn't know how to deal with this type of issue. It's too bad that we have companies like this in the Montrose area. I will never call, use or recommend Peterson to anyone!!
