They bought the higher quality paint that was included in the price. We had just put in new wood floors and they were very careful to cover and tape them off so they were not damaged. I contacted Daniel and he was on vacation told me he would get back to me the next week. He did not. So I called him and he requested pictures of the work that I needed redone. I sent the pictures. He told me that he would get back in touch with me today, Friday, and I have heard nothing. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in Daniel and his crew. Several of my cabinets don't close correctly because the hinges aren't correctly placed and there's a gap above the cabinets to my ceiling that is unsightly. All easy fixes and they should've been done right away. So we'll see what next week brings. I hope they contact me to fix the mistakes or I will have to call someone else.

Communication - Whenever I emailed or texted him, he replied promptly. If I asked him direct questions, he always replied and answered them. Attention to detail is one of their strongest assets. -When painting our outdoor patio, he put a wall of plastic around it just so the overspray would not spray all over the rest of the yard in the swimming pool. -He told me spraying the patio with primer would cost extra money, but he found an extra 5 gallon primer at the shop and charged me for nothing. In the end, we will definitely hire him again next time. But hopefully not for many many years. :) Last and finally, the thing I was most impressed about was the fact that they painted two coats of paint on the entire house. Let me say that again, the entire house was properly prepped, and he painted my house with two coats of premium Sherwin Williams Super Coat paint! We were going to tear out the old wall panel and insulation and install the new insulation ourselves. Then replace the wall panel with drywall, repaint everything and finally, new carpet. Based on the yelp reviews we had 3 companies give us estimates. They were all fairly close in price so that wasn't really a factor. For the painting, we chose to go with Emanuel and Martis Concepts. (OMG. I'm so glad I did. It's been a few months and looking back....I can't even begin to express my gratitude for all the hard work this young man did for us) Emanuel was by far the most professional of the 3. He came and answered all of our questions and was very easy to deal with. Now, here's the good part: There's a lot to know when dealing with a remodel that we didn't know. We were under a tight time schedule so the logistics was a challenge. Contractors speak their own lingo and sometimes it was difficult to make decisions. That's when Emanuel took over. I also had an electrical contractor here working on all the wiring etc so they all had to get along... He made sure the drywall guys did everything they were supposed to. We didn't know any better but HE did! They had to come back after supposedly being done to finish some window edging work. But the real challenge came with the trim. When u change from panel to drywall, the thickness of the material is different. This throws off the fit of the trim. Emanuel to the rescue! He knew a trim guy and had him come out on short notice and they trimmed the whole house in ONE DAY!! Amazing. Every room. All the ceilings and doors, perfect! Emanuel worked closely with my wife Trina and her 3-color scheme. He uses only Sherwin- Williams products and the place looked fantastic. He was here on a Friday installing and painting the trim after the carpet was installed until 10:30 PM. We moved in the next morning at 9:00 AM There's always something popping up to throw a kink in your plans anytime you do a remodel project. Always. With Emanuel & Martis Concepts you can rest assured that he can handle anything that comes up. His work is impressive & professional. Don't waste your time and money with anyone else.

After posting my one-star review about a missed appointment, Jordan, the owner, called me and accused me of being malicious for sharing my experience. I explained that my review was accurate -- he didn't show up, admitted he forgot, and later changed his reason from being too busy for my job to having a family emergency. Rather than taking the feedback professionally, he asked me to change my review. I declined and encouraged him to improve communication and reliability. He connected us with helpful resources for haul-away, stucco and under-house insulation, and even took time to help us move our washer and dryer from storage into our new home. Those efforts were genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, the core service we hired him for--painting--was deeply disappointing. We hired Eddie with the expectation that he would be directly involved in the work, but the job was subcontracted out with little to no visible oversight. As a result, quality suffered significantly. The work on the baseboards and doors throughout the house was poorly executed, and despite commitments to return and fix it, that never happened. There were also issues with how the project was managed: * The job was underbid, and we ultimately paid more than the original estimate (around $20K total). * The project was left incomplete, including exterior painting that we now have to pay someone else to finish--at a higher cost. * Payment was requested ahead of completion, and Eddie stopped responding to calls and messages. Additionally, Eddie is not licensed. We hired him to complete work after a previous contractor, and not having a license limited our ability to pursue any recourse--something we should have verified upfront. The most disappointing part of this experience was the lack of follow-through. Eddie was aware of the challenges we had already faced with the project, yet the work was not completed to standard, and commitments to make it right were not honored. We went into this with trust and good faith, but ultimately, the project was left unfinished and below expectations. And candidly was just disappointing to be treated this way after all we had already been through. I'm only offering a handful of photos just to demonstrate the quality.
