I allowed "We Love Trees" access to my neighbor's property on two occasions. Both times, they used…read morea lift machine with tracks for safety. During their first visit, they drove the machine through the landscaping rocks, scattering them into the lawn. I later informed my neighbor that the tree service had left rocks in the grass and needed to clean up more thoroughly. At the time, I didn't think it was a major issue. On their second visit, they needed to park the lift on the lawn to access an overgrown arborvitae. While unloading, they drove over the concrete lawn edging, breaking it apart. They also ran over an irrigation box containing a backflow preventer, damaging an outlet pipe. Additionally, they spun the tracks on a section of the lawn they didn't even need to access, killing the grass in that area. When working in a well-maintained yard, their cleanup method involves blowing debris into hidden areas, such as behind a shed, rather than fully removing it. Due to the repeated damage and lack of care, they will not be allowed on my property again.

Whatever your tree service needs, look no further!…read more Yes, Ben Sanford is highly skilled in tree care and removal, and has a solid reputation for being fair and reliable, but he also grew up in Sequim, meaning he has soul-deep wisdom from tending to this land and its trees for so long. He took down a large tree that had been damaged in the February blizzard on my new 3-acre parcel, and then walked the land with me, acquainting me with the rooted residents of my place, and how to steward them well. A good man and a true local treasure. I'm grateful I know who to call next time I need tree work.

Where we live is way up along a river so I was surprised to see one of the workers picking up tiny twigs as part of routine clean up. They also cleared out a brushy woody area that had a mix of shrubs and smaller trees. Again, the before and after is astonishing. I had questions about other trees on the property that seemed precarious or were leaning and Jeff was very knowledgable about what seemed okay and what might be a concern in the future. It's been a few months and I still can't get over the difference.
