To access you enter in the rear of the building off of Second Ave. between College and Howard. There is free parking lot behind the building shared with Bank of America and a few other businesses. I am attending the Level I classes so I will cannot comment on Levels II & III but I am very impressed with their program so far. It differs from other Yoga classes I have taken at various fitness clubs in that the class moves at a slower pace. Instead of flowing quickly from pose to pose there is more time spent trying to achieve proper alignment. They also encourage greater use of props such as blankets, blocks, and straps than I have seen before. I am recovering from a back injury and after a year of physical therapy my physical therapist recommended Yoga to help lengthen tight muscle groups, strengthen smaller underutilized muscles, and improve posture. I am very cautious about reinjuring myself so I value the extra time the instructors take to teach proper alignmment. It is possible that some might find the pace of the class too slow. Those students might enjoy the Level II & III classes. I find that I can always challenge myself in class so I am not looking for more at this point. Classes are $15 for walk ins and there are discounts available for multiple class packages.

What a gem! I emailed Level Up after moving to Newberg and finally finding some motivation to get…read moremoving. The facility is always spotless and the staff here are some of the kindest, angels of human beings while still being scary enough to whip you into shape. I bet a lot of folks feel like me the "find a gym for the first time" challenge to be awkward- especially without a gym buddy to go with you. Crystal replied to my email with all the pricing info about the gym and I got excellent vibes. I booked a drop-in class just to try it out and loved the Bootcamp. The front of the studio has water, hand towels and some lockers for your belongings, or you can just hang on to them in the class. Theres a large yoga/barre studio room with weights and mirrors for the classes and a big dark room in the back with 20 stationary bikes for cycling. There are changing rooms and a bathroom as well if you need it right across from the child-care room. I decided to do the 10 class punch card to try more before fully committing and tried the "Full body strength" and cycling classes to (I love the Explicit Cycle with Diane!) I found my rhythm of classes and schedule which are fun and get me moving- but the classes aren't too long (45 mins usually) - I may even stay for a back to back class someday. Aside from the classes and the facility- the owners and staff of Level Up are truly so welcoming and make this place feel safe and fun. I've experienced genuine kindness and none of the competitive gym nonsense you'll see other places. I'm a regular now and plan on being one for a long time!

We had never done hot yoga, it was difficult to keep up with the class when we didn't know how to do anything, but we were able to look around for the most part and do everything. Our instructor was very encouraging, created a nice atmosphere and we spotted our butts off. They have many levels of classes, offer a variety, it's really clean and enjoyable.

Although the days of Core Power Hollywood teachers massaging my head are in the rear view, this group of women and one or two men are really excellent and have really sincere energy. They are not robots, many of them are personable and make me feel happy when I enter and leave. I've been a member for 3 months, this is my final 2 weeks as I break for a summer of walking and swimming. Different classes, some extremely hot, some more focused on sculpting with light dumbbells keeps things interesting. The heat and higher rep light weight really works wonders on your physique and your soul. Pulse Pulse Pulse to Disclosure "defeated no more" which is a crazy coincidence considering I played it this AM for the first time in a decade on the way to class. They do a good job keeping the floors clean here, sweeping right after each class. Thanks CP Bridgeport for 3 months of great vibes and classes moving at a great pace. I'll probably re join in the winter.
