I want to share a sad story with you. A story of a pet transport business that thinks it is legal…read morefor a contract that includes 3 parties (the transport, the buyer and the seller) to only be sent to and signed by 2 parties and for said pet transport business to demand that all 3 parties adhere to a contract that one party never even seen, much less agreed to. A story of a pet transport business that keeps money that was not due them, when they did not adhere to the contract that they themselves wrote. But, thankfully, due to the seller's honesty and love for animals AND humans, this story does not have a sad ending. This story ends with the family getting their puppy, thanks to that seller. The seller that arranged for her own family to deliver that puppy at NO additional cost to said family after someone took their $275.00 for NO SERVICES RENDERED. Even better, that tiny, little puppy did not have to travel from SC down to FL and up to OH before going home in MA like the pet transport business had planned. It was only in the car about 14 hours that day, with people that he knew and was comfortable with. NO STRESS on that baby at all. So, to end this story, the buyer lost NOTHING and held on to her hope that there is still GOOD in this world. Just not with this pet transport business.

I have been looking for a dog groomer for my elderly dog. I…read morerecently relocated from Arizona and haven't been able to get a response from the few groomers I reached out to. I left a message which stated they would get back to me. Since I hadn't heard from them so I decided to call. The owner was very nice when I spoke to her. We set an appointment and I brought my dog in. I arrived a little early and was let in. Again - the greeting was very warm and friendly. They explained other add-ons. I agreed. The cost would be OVER $100.00. I have never paid that for any grooming in any state I have lived in but, I wanted to make this special for my dog. They mentioned that the grooming I wanted would take 4 hours. When I heard that I thought, "Okay, since it's going to take 4 hours - it's going to be great!" When I returned to pick up dog, he looked fine. He smelled great! But, as often is the case - haircuts need to settle. It was not what I had expected. It is pretty uneven in a many places. There was still some matting around his lips. His belly and privates weren't shaved as they should've been. The hair between his pads was mostly still there. I am a little bummed because I don't see where the $110.00 went. I am not sure if the young lady that groomed him had any professional training - but, that's on me for not asking. I'm guessing she started doing this and showed promise and so is continuing to pursue this as a career. She was truly lovely - but that's great customer service not actually hands-on grooming. My advice to you is simply list what you expect and take the time to check it before you leave. My advice to the owner is just be careful and double check what is done and make sure that there is a standard when it comes to the add-ons. I am leaving the 4-Stars because they truly were friendly and I hope they make the necessary adjustments. Would I recommend them? Of course because I felt safe leaving my dog in their hands, but, I am hoping they address the issues so they can thrive. I wish them success. Have a great day.
